Re: What happened with VeggieTales movies?

Selling a whole bunch of VHS tapes for kids to watch at home is much different than convincing parents to drag the kids to the theatre, and to pay individual admissions plus snacks... especially when a family already has 20 of those tapes for the kids to watch. And those films had zero crossover app...

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

Re: Getting reference in drawing canines

I'd say that's pretty wide open. It's all a matter of personal style.

Re: The state and future of animation

Experience doesn't equate with excellence. They are two different things. Though he deserves respect for keeping his studio going for so long, and he managed a handsome production or two, his films are not seen as all that great. Also, Rich is 70 years old. I don't necessarily see him snooping aroun...

Re: Why did Alpha and Omega get a fandom?

I really wasn't aware that anyone cared about Alpha and Omega. And I've never watched it, though I was astounded to learn there had been sequels! So, I guess I'm not the best person to answer that. :)

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19)

As a healthcare professional, I highly encourage you to be vaccinated at the earliest opportunity, and generally avoid crowded indoor spaces. We don't ne...

Mission to Mars: The French release reportedly has poor video, with macroblocking and forced subs. The German transfer reportedly is subpar as well, though some find it okay. The German disc is in a DVD-size mediabook: Taken from Bluray-disc.de: Booklet with the essay Mission de Palma by Dominik Sta...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Geffrey, if you're still reading, I have some advice to share, though I do hope you seek some other assistance as well. Re: Disney Pixar's Turning Red

The film takes place in Toronto, the hometown of the director. It's big news here. There are glimpses of familiar landmarks, and a few maple leaves.

Just saw the trailer, and... I am amazingly underwhelmed. The only thing that interests me is its Canadian setting.
