If Vi is right then maybe it was Bird and Stanton that eased Lasseter/Catmull/Iger/El Jobso and the rest of the exec team at Pixar into the decision to branch off into live action. I mean, besides John, they are probably two of the most influential directors at Pixar considering the successes of the...

Thanks James. In your professional opinion, do you think I should catch Shrek 3 in cinemas next month or wait for the DVD?

I think Shrek 3 opening early June in Aussie as well as HP5 opening mid July in Aussie is also probably the reason Ratatouille was shafted to the end of August.

Looks to me like the only good part is the questioning of Pinocchio. and we've already seen that dozens of times in the trailers & commercials indeed we have. I don't have high expectations for this movie. Bee movie however I am rather looking forward too. I just hope they don't make a schmozzle ou...

Only 48% at Rotten Tomatoes? I must agree with Sullivan however, POTC:DMC got bad reviews but I really enjoyed it. Then again, I love the trailers and what's coming for POTC:AWE however Shrek 3 looks terrible. Looks to me like the only good part is the questioning of Pinocchio.

These "Art of" books are always ridicously expensive over here. They are about $50-$60, however if I buy them off amazon they equate to about $25-$30, depending on how long it has been out. I'd really like to collect them all and by the looks of it the Bee Movie one is going to be very colourful.

Lincoln. Haven't heard of it. Is it about Abraham Lincoln? Because if it is it sounds like it will be very interesting. Lot of biopics been made over the past few years. There was Ray, The Queen, Walk the Line, they are making one of Milli Vanilla, making one on Freddy Mercury, this one, the list go...

I love the Art of books. If I had the money I would buy them all. I got to browse through the Spirited Away one at a bookstore once. Fantastic!

Sure does Jeroen! I just Disney would give it a world wide release date, not releasing 2-3 months later in some countries and a day earlier like Chile!

Ok. Now maybe Disney/Pixar will still have Pixar Animation Studios, but they might also have a seperate studio under the Pixar name but for live action. This would give the ability for Pixar artists, if they wanted to, have the option also to work on live action films, as well as pixar cg anims and ...

did they even have David Schwimmer in the first place? Maybe Peter Sohn just sounds a lot like him.
