Re: Futurama

I don't hear many people praising The Simpsons Movie, either... it WAS awful! While I respect your individual opinion, the 90% RT score from critics and 78% from users begs to differ. Please don't act as if everyone feels the way you do. I agree that Futurama is not nearly as great as it was during...

Re: Harry Potter

How sad. Just saw to the first two movies so far, he created a really memorable character. I'm not familiar with any of his other work, but his role in the Potter series won't be soon forgotten.

Paranorman is nothing like Cloudy, at all. Liking one won't determine you liking the other.
No, they're not alike, but the style of humor felt similar to me. If the humor in Cloudy wasn't your thing, I just don't think you'll like the humor in Paranorman either.

Re: ParaNorman

I thought the writing in Paranorman was up to the quality of Cloudy, so that's probably why I loved this. If you didn't like Cloudy, you won't like this. Besides, humor is extremely subjective. But really, "insufferable"?

It makes me happy to see The Illusionist and Secret of Kells on here with each over 200 votes, they're incredible films I wish more people would see.

Re: Epic Mickey

If you like the music from Final Fantasy, you would love Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for 3DS. Great game expertly incorporating the entire series' music. Epic Mickey is... eh. But I appreciate the clip. Nightmare is better, but the song in the clip is just a reworking of "Kidnap The Sandy Claws" from ...

Re: Epic Mickey

I didn't mean the score (having never played FF, I can't think of any memorable video game scores), I meant the songs (including the villain intro song you mentioned). The idea of a break-out-in-song musical video game piqued my interest, it could be interesting.

I'm glad to hear that the camera has improved. Did you get a taste of the music during the demo?

Re: Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

I finally got around to watching an episode, and I'm truly impressed how good this show is. It's very well-animated, and the amount of character development and well-executed humor brings it pretty far above most other cartoons like it.

Re: Nickelodeon's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

It's really telling when merely watching the clip on mute (work) holds my interest enough to make me want to watch an episode. It's the closest thing to CGI anime I've ever seen.

Re: ParaNorman

Just saw the movie. It was amazing, second best movie I've seen this year. Full of witty humor, gorgeous animation, emotionally engaging and wildly entertaining plot, and a nice use of 3D. Trailers definitely mislead me, I didn't expect Paranorman to be this good. I am surprised at its PG rating, as...
