I think in many ways this film is the most important achievement since Jurassic Park, or at least Lord of the Rings.

Was it the Dolby 3d process or the Real-D?

If you had to give back the glasses, it's usually the inferior Dolby process. But I'm just checking. Were the glasses light, big and plastic, or heavy little letter-slots made of metal?

This is basically to make more money: the European releases will re-use the prints that have been finished with in the American theaters.


I don't think this is actually the case. I don't think movie release-prints hold up well enough to do this.

Plus "european" releases mean multiple ...

The 3d glasses used for this film will not do anything at home. Well, they might be passable as sunglasses.

Yes, but they wouldn't work on your television set, or with your DVD player.
