Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Ohhhh jeez....well, as you said Dan, it is for the best health-wise. (And is actually a pretty appropriate way to close out this poor excuse for a “year”.)

Praying for 2021 to be better. :|

Re: The Simpsons

Oh ok so they’re dubbing Désert’s voice over Azaria’s? Pretty lame alright. The mouth movements are modeled after Azaria’s voice, so won’t it look out of synch? (Unless I’m misunderstanding.)

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Things mostly still suck here, although at least it’s not broiling hot anymore. :| There’s never been a lot to do in this area anyway, but now with so many limitations it’s even worse. (Also I still hate wearing the 😷. Ugh, took so many things for granted before this hit.) Well, anyway, I just re-wa...

Re: Official Star Wars Thread

Interesting (but not very surprising). Good on Daisy for speaking out! :) https://www.cnn.com/2020/09/09/entertainment/daisy-ridley-rey-lineage/index.html Even with everything, I’ll admit there were scenes I really enjoyed from all three Sequel Trilogy films. (And way more than the Prequels, althoug...

Re: The Twilight Zone

You RULE, Dan!! :) Cultural osmosis has always played a part in spreading TV/film references throughout the decades. I knew the term “the Twilight Zone” and its general meaning wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy before I EVER watched an episode. (Saw my first marathon at twelve I think.). I think I even knew the nam...

Re: The Twilight Zone

The “National Geographic” song was the best part of that opening. :). “Look at those two apes, this must be where they lived!”

Re: The Twilight Zone

Very rare, vintage footage from behind-the-scenes of the ‘83 Zone film. (Promo from before film was released.) Wisely, they don’t spend much time discussing the first segment (three deaths occurred, won’t get into it here). But there’s GREAT footage from the making of Spielberg, Dante’s and Miller’s...

Re: YouTube Goodness

Another awesome six-minute making-of feature from the late 80s, this time on The Great Mouse Detective. Once again, everyone is super young! :o

Re: The Twilight Zone

Ah. That’s certainly interesting to know. And that’s very true about interfering with the rhythm of the show. (Which was always like a one-act play, especially with eps like “It’s a good life”, “The Dummy”, and “To Serve Man”.) Episodes like “He’s alive!” were less like a one-act play and much more ...
