Re: The NEW Muppet Movie

Ohhh this is SO amazing, Jim being interviewed on Arsenio Hall in 1989. It’s absolutely hilarious and so sweet! :) :) :) :) Arsenio was a really great host...also I still can’t believe he also played Winston in The Real Ghostbusters. (They replaced his voice when he left to host his show). Even thou...

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

K...two weeks from now...IT’S A GO!!! :D I was so relieved to hear that they’re leaving the animated Classics alone. (Thanks gaastra! ;)) That was my only real objection. Very excited to re-watch Walt’s ‘55 Alice...lately I’ve actually been thinking about that specific film and how, on my opinion, i...

Re: Official Star Wars Thread

All valid points. But what could the movies and merchanding be earning if the films were actually GOOD? A little more patience in terms of development may have paid off even more in the long run. I also wish so much that modern Hollywood studio execs would see things this way, but unfortunately the...

Re: Official Star Wars Thread

That latest “Han shot first (Or maybe not)” Lucas update (front page story) is absolutely hilarious. “Maclunkey!” Lol. https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2019/11/greedo-han-solo-star-wars-edit Can’t believe it’s been forty-two years since the original film  and Lucas still can’t stop ...

Re: The Simpsons

That’s good to know, and definitely makes sense considering the whole Martin issue. Although personally I’ve always preferred Nancy’s performance over Russi’s (not that she didn’t also do a great job, I just felt Nancy was better at bringing out Martin’s obnoxiousness lol) it would just be plain WEI...

Re: J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek"

Even though I’m still practically drooling to see the upcoming Picard series, this quite authentic fan-made trailer for an actual Picard movie still gives me goosebumps! :). (It was made before the official announcement of said series) https://youtu.be/ufAzwreFLAA (Oh btw that current shot of Jonath...

Re: Disney's Frozen

Absolutely LOVE the first poster. Especially all the different shades of blue, (as you said, Dan) and all of their subtle gradations.

Second poster...meh. Extremely plain and unexciting. Plus weird to only see Anna and not Elsa. Much as I like Anna I always considered Elsa the main character...

Re: YouTube Goodness

Beautiful! Mysterious and adventurous all at once! Reminds me very much of Spirited Away actually.

The combination of two cultures is really well done...each are magical in their own way. The “Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” song fits perfectly. :)

Re: Disney's Frozen

Anna’s is hands-down the best! :). She just looks so courageous.

(Elsa’s ok but not very inspired. Just standing there with her hands at her sides? And that jacket certainly doesn’t do her any favors.:?)
