Re: Woody Woodpecker

Random, but on the Simpsons commentary for the Burns Vampire Halloween mini-ep, David Silverman says that Homer’s excitement/hand-movements for riding the “Super Fun Happy Slide” were based on Humphrey the Bear’s. :) :P

Re: How our society is becoming more like the one in WALL-E

Pretty neat and accurate article, although a bit depressing. But what’s really cool is how close that graphic is to the floating chairs in WALL-E! :). (Ben, your above description/prediction above from 2008 is becoming more and more real. :| ) https://www.seattletimes.com/pacific-nw-magazine/the-dec...

Re: The Twilight Zone

Talky Tina in color (I think from the same channel you posted, Dan.)

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19)

I just wanted things to be ok, to be the way they were. (Well I guess everyone did.) I’m really quite disappointed, especially that those in authority don’t seem to truly know what the heck is going on. It’s not even about getting rid of this anymore, just learning to live with it. Yeah, I’m disappo...

Re: Coronavirus (Covid-19)

Re: What is your favorite period of history?

Love reading about the Industrial Revolution in Europe as well as the start of international trade/imperialism. Always fascinating to learn how much the world changed from around the 18th century on; all from a sociological, cultural, historical and political standpoint. Also love studying the fifte...
