Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

Too right...Boyer was always great in anything, but outside either pure screwball comedy or "you’ve got the wrong man" Hitchcockian thrillery, Grant was actually more than a bit of a bore in his 1950s romantic "comedies", such as that and the interminable Indiscreet among others, which were usually ...

Jungle Cruise now scheduled to premiere on D+ the same day as the cinema release, as a premier(e) access thingy.

Re: The Venture Bros.

I love what I’ve seen, which is maybe four or five eps and a few glimpses of some others on Adult Swim here. Trouble is, they never program things in the same spots, so it’s hard to get a groove. And I’d like to start from the front anyway. But I knew you’d be pleased when I saw that announcement!

Re: Space Jam 2

My justification for the Blu was that it was in that four pack with two other films I wanted to see...and that Yogi Bear thing, so at least there was value to the few bucks I paid for it. I only got it as it was cheap, since I had the LD already, and that would have done me for the one time I might ...

Re: Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy (Live-Action)

But he was still a boy! This kind of again goes back to the original text: maybe Barrie should have called them the Lost Children, which would now be the Lost Kids. Although making that change back then would have meant that the story didn’t fit into the Boy's Own adventure mold that it was designed...

Re: Sony's Wish Dragon Trailer

Answer: yes. Over The Moon would have always been a Netflix show, since they financed it, but So y would have been releasing Mitchells in theatres for sure, hoping for another Spideyverse or the next Lego movie franchise. But, yeah, all these animateds going DTS does seem like it’s a predestined or ...

Re: Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy (Live-Action)

It’s a common mistake with franchise films to have sequels mixed up. When Dave Prowse died they showed Vader's entrance at the start of Star Wars, but captioned it as The Empire Strikes Back!

Re: Disney's Peter Pan and Wendy (Live-Action)

The Lost, er, Guys? No, that still doesn’t work!

Blame JM Barrie! He was a weirdo anyway! And apparently sexist! Ban him! Cancel Peter Pan! Wait, why are we making this again? Stop shooting, we can’t release this now!

World’s gone mad.
