Re: Ghostbusters — OFFICIAL THREAD

Rick Moranis actually proposed a Ghostbusters show back during the promotion of GBII, which he suggested would be on "NBC, Thursdays at nine!"; when asked if he thought there would be a third film, he thought the future of it was in television and that they had been talking about doing a show. Obvio...

Re: YouTube Goodness

Took me six seconds to wonder if this was AI and the Ryan Reynolds shot at 16s to confirm it. Very surreal looking.

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe

For me, post-Endgane, it finishes with No Way Home. It’s a total reset and a new start, meaning a satisfying end. You could argue similar for Guardians 3, but that was part-prequel too, which detracted from the sense of real closure. I don’t really think any of the MCUs after Endgame, outside of Spi...

Re: Marvel Cinematic Universe

I’m so not jazzed in any way shape or form for another FF at this point. In fact, I’m kind of all MCU'd out by now.

Re: Official Star Wars Thread

Fixed Skywalker for ya. ;) The problem wasn’t TFA, aside from not introing Luke until the last 30 seconds, it was the misdirection that Johnson took The Last Jedi in. If Rise was the endgame — and we now know there WAS no endgame — then seeds could and should have been sown there, but in the end the...

Re: The Muppets

Only 1960's Jim Henson? What about the films he made after that, in the later 60s…? ;)

Re: Official Star Wars Thread

Yes, the sequel trilogy (soon to have a fourth?) was a totally squandered opportunity, not only in hindsight but as it was actually happening! :(

Re: YouTube Goodness

Didn’t notice any sound "issues" as such (outside of bad mixing or occasional recording quality), but please note an f-bomb fairly early on.

Quite a bizarre and dirty tale, with so many contradictions in their actions. Doesn’t sound like a particularly great group of people…!

Re: Disney Movie Rewards

I see what they did there. ;)

Might have been tempted on Rogue One…had it been a 4K (the only live-action Wars film I don’t yet have in 4K), but then I’d wonder if would it really be worth it…

Re: Metv toons network channel to air classic cartoons

Because that would all be too much for WBD to actually do this as part of Max, right!? Hoo, boy…

Re: The Muppets

D'oh! Well I feel sheepish! ;) Ridiculously, I did actually know about this in the deepest, darkest recesses of what used to be my mind…! I had an idea (no pun intended) that the name was connected somehow, but the old neural net didn’t want to connect those dots! Thanks for the nudge! Still think i...
