Re: Jurassic World

The one in the first movie that followed on from the one in the teaser trailer? The one in the movie was *A* bug (mosquito) in amber, which was just one of many. Or did you think that was the first one they found and the Park was already full of dinos from some other method…? :? The one in the tease...

Re: Space Jam 2

Sad that the hand-drawn tradigital animation in the original still beats the traditional animated bits of the new one.

Re: Wilhelm Scream in Studio Ghibli movies?

Well, obviously, the only way to know is to ask him! But it’s a stock sound effect, found in most professional libraries, and has been used in films totally innocently, as a scream, as much as it has, in more recent times, as a fun Easter egg with a knowing and nodding wink to those who recognise it...

That was a me. Your comment was sexist, inappropriate and, worse, incorrect.

And Book Of Mormon is freakin' hilarious.

I honestly didn’t make it past 20 minute of this. Something came up and I couldn’t watch to the end at that point, and, although I had intended to go back, I can’t really see myself bothering. It just didn’t gel for me.
Really excited for a sequel…!

Maybe he'll pop up in Luck…? ;)

Glad you enjoyed it; we were going to run it tonight but ended up finally catching up on Frozen II and, bizarrely, the shoot 'em up Nobody, which made for an interesting double bill…!

Phew! For a moment there I didn’t think Luca was coming to the UK, but just checked and, yes, it’s here today, thank goodness, as have family coming over later to watch. You're slipping, Dan! ;)

Fun to see Droids being added. At least they seem to be sticking to Fridays for the weekly big drops!

Re: Wonderful World of Disney host?

I think you e posted that before, Vi. I distinctly remember liking that end pan from Robin and Eisner leaving frame and the Sheriff entering screen right…pretty cool. At least even in the streaming era, the drop on Fridays, now Wednesdays, meant that everyone can still have those watercooler moments...

I think I knew why they called her Laverne, it not why they didn’t call her Marie. Makes more sense, no?

One of the funnest "age" things I ever saw was my Mum pulling out of our drive, indicating a turn right…and driving off left!
