Maybe it's based on how many songs are elegible to be nominated (like how the animation category is). But for the past 4 years, there have been 5 nominees.

I think Chicken Little deserved a nomination above all the other 3. But at the end of the day, Chicken Little is still the real winner of the 4. Nominations or not, it has a worldwide total of $252m ($134m coming from America). W&G and Corpse each got about $55m here & Howl's Moving Castle was only ...

If you think The Incredibles was nothing more than a "superhero" movie, then I think you missed the point. I honestly don't think of it any more than just a superhero movie. People falling off buildings, the villain tricking the hero, the superhero's friends being used as bait, an overly predictive...

James wrote:The Incredibles will be considered a classic animated film because there is just nothing else like it.
There are dozens of films just like The Incredibles. Sure, they weren't all animated, but a large portion of them were CG (how many superhero movies in the past 5 years have been made?)

I hope at the very least they change the Castle to the one Disney used in Chicken Little. That one was so much better than the one Pixar made. Also, I hope they change the music in the begining to the traditional Disney intro music.

That's ashame. FOP is such a funny show (& I believe it's one of Nickelodeon's highest rated shows). I won't do anything. You probably have more of a change of getting killed by tripping over an ant, than having an online petition work. That is NOT true at all. Fan support has kept many shows on the...

I wouldn't expect any changes in the near future. Right now, their shows (including "That's so Raven", "Phil of the Future" and "The Suite Life of Zach & Cody") are very popular. TV schedules are based on ratings (and in DC's case, merchandice too). So no, I wouldn't expect any major changes anytime...

I think Jobs would be the better choice. To me, he would have much more "face" value (ie, more people would know him) than Lasseter.

Narnia? C'mon, that movie will not be nominated in anything other than the technical awards...sound effects, visual effects, costumes and sets. I know, but I think it should. Especially the performance for the White Witch. You know, the Oscar people are always complaining about ratings & they think...

I chose Bambi II because the animation looks stunning and the story appears to be well done. I haven't seen much about the other 2 movies (exept for the BBII pics...which also looks to have stunning animation). But being that Rutt & Tuke are in BBII, that'll probably top Bambi II as my most anticipa...

Nominations: Madagascar, Chicken Little & Wallace and Grommit Winner: Chicken Little (I really hope CL wins) As for the rest of the oscars, I'm hoping the technical awards go to Narnia. I would love Narnia to get a Best Picture nod, but I don't think the academy would do that. But for the rest of th...

I hear a lot of "They are copying/ripping off Madagascar" but that is not true at all. Although Madagascar came out in theaters first, production started on this first. The Wild is not copying Madagascar. Overall, I think it will be a pretty good movie (it certainly looks better than Over the Hedge,...

Well first of all, let me say that I LOVED this movie. Trailers Hoodwinked: Looks funny but also looks like it tries too hard Ice Age 2: The squirrel segment was very funny....but what the heck is the movie about? This looks to be like another forgetable movie (except for the squirrel) Some movie wi...

From this list, I'd choose One Little Slip, but I'd really like Can't Take It In to win (from Narnia). Also, from the aforementioned link, you can also download the complete songs (for free). From that link, you can hear/download the 2 songs from Narnia, the song from CL & the one from Pooh.
