Just got back from seeing the movie - my first ever 3D experience! While you do know the general landmarks of the story, I really enjoyed letting the film take me to its destination. And of course the ending was always the gray area - you have an idea of how they're going to do it, but you're never ...

Me too - I love the feel he gave Lord of the Rings. Always good to have a guy in charge who respects the source material. :)

I wonder who will direct, seeing as the report is that Jackson will be producing...?

It was all right, but didn't move me or really make me laugh. A decent effort, and pretty... but also pretty forgettable.

I was kinda glad, when Nancy shows up and rightfully gets suspicious, that Giselle and Robert weren't an "item." If she fell in love with the first man she really talked to, that would be dumb, right? Of course, the way they made it happen was OK with me, but I spent a lot of time (as hints started...

Saw Enchanted today. Mmm... traditional animation. :D And they pulled off their concept better than I thought they would. It wasn't unpredictable, and yet I didn't mind that. And I adored Giselle (or however you spell it), though I bet part of that was she reminded me of a roommate I had once who wa...

It's gonna look good, at least. I still am doubtful of the movie in general, but looks like it could be worth a borrow from the library.

*snort* Good one. The absurdity of hats decorating the ankles also makes me chuckle. Though that could just be because it's late. :P

The animation students at school were given the chance to see Bee Movie this morning... I couldn't go because I had no way to get there. There was surprisingly little buzz (aw crud, wasn't planning on a pun, too :P) about it in my classes this afternoon. A couple people were talking about a scene th...

Finally did see this with my friend's family. Now as a preface, I'll say that I kinda missed out on the whole Transformers thing in the '80s. I remember seeing commercials for the toys while I was watching my Saturday morning cartoons, but nothing else. The concept is vaguely interesting, but always...

I love the tiger, in design and movement. Some sweet motion in general going on in that trailer. I still think it has potential, so long as the pop culture stuff and body humor is kept to a minimum. Might be a tall order for a Dreamworks CGI film, but I'll still hope. ;)

That's a pretty sweet teaser image - mysterious, yet awesome. And I'm not even an Astro Boy fan. I can see myself bothering to read up on it and going to see this if it looks cool enough further down the road. And it'll likely only get better, visually - compare the first teaser image of TMNT with t...

What a clunky title, if they have indeed changed it. Still look forward to it, though. :)
