Flushed Away was better than I expected. I loved the story, the characters, and the overall fun of it. Like Meg, I enjoyed this a lot more than Monster House . Oh, and I loved the slugs! They were so cute, and they always got a chuckle out of me! IMHO Flushed Away is that kind of movie where ...

I didn't want to complain too much, but sadly this is also my case... Polish Ratatouille's premiere is scheduled for Oc...

Sorry K! :( Here if you ever go to Barnes and Noble and Borders (huge book store chains) they usually have books like this in their film/media section, often of the latest animated releases. My local B & N still has at least two or three copies of The Art of Cars. I think you can probably order the...

Could be really cool :) I love those "art of HereTitleOfSomeBrilliantAnimatedMovie" books :) If only they were easier avalable in my country... I would buy them all :) ...but unfortunately they're not :(
Sometimes the best part of the film is its "art of..." book ;)

Nice that you've mentioned it JV :) Yes - I noticed that hint too while watching that ABC behind-the-scenes material :) As far as I remember he always wanted to make live action movies and it clearly corresponds with his "animation is not a genre" mantra. Thanks for the link :) Interesting chunk of ...

Actually I found the shot of Linguini talking the weakest - I don't know - maybe It's just his voice - I imagined him sound other way, or maybe it's something with lisync (or even face animation). But overally they're all great shots, and the animation and visual style is top notch. I love Remy's ex...

In fact, I'd say it was the least-looking "Pixar" short I've seen. Oh... really ? hard to belive ;) And what about andree and wally b and other early shorts ? ;) Obviously I haven't seen it yet (and I really envy you :) ) , but from that short clip that was published on AWN I can tell that lighting...

Lifted - Pixar's latest short

Hi :) I know that shorts usually get much less attention than features so I hesitated to add new thread just about one of those little animation masterpieces, but couldn't decide where to post news about it, so here it is - little new thread :) Pixar has updated its homepage (and short film section)...
