Re: Disney's Frozen
Wow, long time Kaszubas! Nice to see a face from the past. :) Yepp ;) I dropp by here sometimes ;) ...but checking the news (and views) frequently, just voicing my opinion once in a blue moon ;) Good to hear from you too :) Yes, definitely! :). It’s great to see you again Kaszubas! Yeah, I probably...

Re: Disney's Frozen
Great post Rand! :) Agree 100%. You summed up the situation really well. With so much line-blurring, the old definitions are losing their meaning. And an attempt to classify TLK '19 as one thing or another is doomed from the start. Yes, exactly. It’s truly a crazy time for “animation”, or at least ...

Re: jurassic 4
If it's confirmed that ILM is not going to be involved with this one then yep - that's sad. JP is an important part of ILM's legacy. But hey - wouldn't it be great to watch another great venture into feature animation world like Rango instead ? ;-) My biggest gripe with this becoming true would be C...

Re: jurassic 4
It's not going to be ILM? Then my WAG would be WETA
they did some exceptional work on T-Rexes in King Kong few years ago and there is this close bussiness relationship between Spielberg & Jackson recently... Does it make any sense to You?

Re:
I still don't get, however, how someone can come into a film around six-months to a year before release (after it's been going for two or three) and then claim a "directed by" credit and nudge the guy that's actually done all the ground-laying work to a "co-director" who isn't getting any recogniti...

Thanks for posting this cool spy-pic robster :) I tinkered with it a little bit more trying to regain original body proportions (thanks to google and original Mandy Moore photo) and probably get closer to intended color palette or at least contrast and saturation :) http://img132.imageshack.us/img13...

Some good points there Elena :) I agree with You to some extent - designwise it looks interesting and character animation looks great. It definitely has its own quite unique visual style. I'll take the risk and visit my local cineplex when it opens ;-) I belive it's gonna be quite entertaining at le...

...maybe designs of human characters are not as refined as some of us would like them to be but there are some major improvements: quite good cloth simulation (I think on par with what we've seen in The Incredibles). As for design style - "de gustibus...". As for quality of its realisation - those s...
