My avatar is some concept art of the main character from the graphic novel i've finally started working on. It's a concept that has it's roots in my years as a 2nd grader, became reimagined as a comic strip (and then put on the back burner) in high school, was reignited in 2004 ...

Finally made it a point to DVR two episodes and sat down to watch them this morning...HOLY COW! I honestly wasn't expecting much of anything and i was really impressed!

I've always been a DC guy and haven't read much Marvel, but i'm a fan of the Raimi movies and i have a good friend who's filled me ...

I totally agree, George. BTAS hit the ground running and it seems that the whole thing was an anomaly of science!

I'm hoping the Saturdays becomes the show i want it to be, but until then i'll just keep enjoying Flapjack and Chowder (my 2 guilty tv pleasures!)

Dude, totally...that's like the one major thing they continue to overlook is that the property completely lends itself to a more mature audience. Who knows if they'll ever figger that one out...

As to my favorite Batman, it's still the 1992-1995 Batman animated series with Batman: Mask of the Phantasm still being my favorite all-time Batman movie, animated OR live-action.

I didn't like the 1997-1999 Batman ...

P.S. -- I did get to see one of the replica Batmobiles at a comic con this weekend. It was one of the '66 replica TV models.

Are you referring to the Batman/Superman series? I wasn't a fan at first but certain characters really grew on me and others i found to be an improvement on the original Batman TAS. For example, the noose-around-the-neck Scarecrow was quite possibly one of the best changes, IMHO.
