Re: DC Universe
I agree with this assessment. The positive thing I'll say about Gunn's Superman is that I could at least finish watching the movie, which I couldn't with Man of Steel, and then the only DCEU films I watched are the two Wonder Woman films and that's it.

Re: DC Universe
I didn't enjoy this movie, thought it was too goofy and couldn't take anything seriously. You can also feel that James Gunn spends too much time online. I'm glad for others who enjoyed it but it's not for me so I'm pretty much done with Gunn's DCU. I still plan to watch Matt Reeves' Batman 2 if he ...

Re: Disney Pixar's Elio
I took my nephews to watch the film, they enjoyed it, I thought it was generic and the "conflict" and the way they solved it were contrived. I don't really have much to say about it, I don't think I'll revisit this one.

Re: Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Live-Action)
I don't like them but Disney stopped caring about adapting fairytales for animation. All we're going to get are more Frozens, more Moanas or movies like Wish. The last fairytale they adapted when you really think about it was Rapunzel.

Re: Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Live-Action)
With the Tangled remake cancelled, it means that this was indeed Disney's last fairytale film. Doesn't it make any of you sad
?

It's just a bit weird to name your child after the thing that almost got them killed.

Re: Cinderella - Disney Live-Action Feature
Oh I see.
I do own Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid on digital because I received the codes, but I didn't count them since I don't own them on Blu-ray, and owning something on digital these days is basically like having Disney+.

Re: Cinderella - Disney Live-Action Feature
I'm surprised. I didn't know people here were fans of the remakes.
The only live action Disney films I own are Mary Poppins, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Pirates of the Caribbean and Enchanted.

That should say something.
And I'm sorry but I despise Maleficent.

Re: Cinderella - Disney Live-Action Feature
Rewatched the film again because I keep seeing claims that it's the best live action remake of Disney and I guess it's true, but my opinion of the film hasn't changed, I think it's fine and I thought it was fine 10 years ago when I first watched it. I guess since then Disney has released so many ...

At least it's going to be fun hate watching Snow White. This just looks unimaginative, bland and redundant. Really what is the point?
And I guess now even moments that are supposed to be sincere and serious like "Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten ...

Re: 2024 Readers' Choice Poll
I'm in the minority of not caring that much about The Wild Robot. I'm sorry to say that Chris Sanders' films bore me, How to Train Your Dragon as well. I'm fond of Lilo and Stitch, but I wonder what my opinion would have been if I hadn't seen it when I was 10 years old. My sister, who is 13 years ...
