The 60's collection was worth it to get for the two new-to-DVD specials. They seemed very vaguely familiar to me and I wondered if I had seen them when I was really little. Wonder if there's a way to check when they might've aired after their original releases.

In short, anyone else notice... THIS!?? http://animated-views.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/up-dws.jpg I was wondering if the full name of the site would get written into the theme somewhere. When did Animated-News & Views get purchased by Dreamworks Animation..?   I saw the fol...

As far as the 3D effect goes I'll have to concur that UP does have the most unobtrusive 3D effect of any 3D movie I have ever seen.

I think people are going to like this movie. Adventuresome, touching, and funny.

Green Lantern: First Flight

Looks good but I'm wondering why in the world they felt like they had to change the shape of Abin Sur's head and Sinestro's skin color.

Yes, the framing was done well but you can also do it with the black bordering if you want. In fact, I believe it defaults to the black bars on the side.

Just got my Blu-Ray of Pinocchio and am looking forward to seeing how it looks on my screen. Hopefully the issues that the El Capitan projection had are not present on the Blu-Ray. Got mine from Target and it didn't have the bonus audio CD like the regular DVD does (does anyone know the track listin...

Don't forget that there was also another book where Indy found Noah's Ark on Mt. Ararat. It was called Indiana Jones and the Great Deluge. If they could have done a movie based on this... (And they're releasing "Howard" on DVD pretty soon, too.) Maybe the next one could be about Noah's Ark. If they...

When I saw it the first time I thought the acting was really wooden (and it might be) and it irked me. It didn't seem so bad the second time around. There's little things that irk me about each of the Indy movies. Raiders is great but doesn't get a free pass. Even it has moments of wooden acting (no...

"In the restored version, for example, when Pinnochio gets locked in Geppetto's "birdcage" the nighttime scene is bright and garish where it should intentionally be darker and muted." I was there too and that's just about the only scene I missed when I ran quickly to the restroom. What we saw at the...

In a rush so I haven't read this whole thread but wanted to point out that Charles Schulz stipulated before he passed on that any Peanuts specials made after his death would have to be based on his own strips and not on stories created by others. Yes, the "harassment" storyline was in the strips. So...
