Re: The Twilight Zone

I would say it varies. Most of the time it happens during filler, other times it can more crucial. Take for example one of my other favorites; "The Midnight Sun". They cut the scene near the end where Mrs. Bronson collapses from heat stroke and dies. Such a small scene, but one that carries a lot of...

Re: Banana Splits five nights Movie Trailer!

One banana, two banana, three banana, gore, we'll rack up lots of bodies and they'll be so many more.

Re: The Twilight Zone

That's probably because they ARE sped up-- Not exactly. Whenever there's no dialogue that's when SyFy speeds up scenes. It's very noticeable because you see people moving freakishly fast. And when they don't speed up, they get creative and trim a scene. One example that comes to mind is "The Howlin...

Re: The Simpsons

That's nothing, try doing that with Marge scenes. Julie's voice has deteriorated so much. Most of the time she sounds alright, other times it's cringey. She makes Marge sound too old and exhausted. Especially when she cries. She's getting on though, so I try to cut her some slack. Unlike Harry who d...

Re: Disney's Frozen

Here is said trailer for convenience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zi4LMpSDccc I liked it enough. Probably could've done without the reused footage from the teaser and the use of Vuelie again. But it's nice and nostalgic. The first few seconds and before the water horse appear gives me vibes of L...

Re: The Twilight Zone

Something worth noting. CBS is going to start airing The Good Fight in a week. Why is that noteworthy and related to Twilight? Well, Fight is a CBS All-Access show and aside from the pilot preview it has only ever been part of their subscription service. Talk about a no brainer! That's how it should...

Re: The Lion King Remake

Another clip where we get to hear Simba! Well, young Simba anyhow. ;)

Sounds good. Reminds me a bit of Jonathan's version.

Re: Toy Story 4

Four comedy legends are lending their voices to new characters. Pretty neat. Can never go wrong with Betty! Very creative with the names too, though I think Reiner-ceros sounds better. ;)

How much of the scatological jokes involving Pumbaa did the new version bring over?
I'm expecting about the same, with a hint of Rogen's laugh. ;)

I haven't yet gotten around to looking for a replacement image host; perhaps this could be my excuse for finally doing so. :|
You could always use the attachment feature as a temporary means. :)

Re: The Lion King Remake

Luau! Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if Disney omits the scene altogether. It was ballsy enough to do it in 90s, not so much these days. If it's not removed, expect a watered down version that likely takes away the word "drag" and the thrust movement. Or dragging it out as a full song t...

Re: Cinderella: Platinum Edition Discussion

The Disney Store is offering four free lithographs when you pre-order. (plus a coupon) What's interesting is these are different from the usual kind Disney offers. Usually it's just artwork from the film, but this set also includes concept art and Mary Blair prints! Pretty neat. Although I think th...

Yep, real shame. I was already planning to visit Mc everyday to collect them. Oh well...

Now I'm just hoping my Theatre has a cool popcorn bucket. :)

Re: The Lion King Remake

We finally get to hear Nala's voice in this new sneak peak: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hoGhxfndjpM Meh. It's what I expected, Beyoncé being Beyoncé. No more no less. Acting seems subpar and those mouth movements, bleh. So emotionless. We also get a tease of the final battle. Doesn't look as gra...
