Wolverine & the X-Men
What do you guys think of the show? I really enjoyed it. I think it's been a nice break since X-Men: Evolution and this puts the story right back into gear without alienating new fans. Anyone out there seen this? It just got a DVD release date set for April 21st.

I think for an arthouse movie to get nominated, it really has to be considered the best animated movie to come out that year. Most people who may have liked Bashir enough, might have just put Wall-E in the number one spot (the consensus being that Wall-E was the best animated feature of 2008). Belle...

I'm old enough to remember Warner's first (and last) "Cartoon Crack-Ups"-- Oh, I remember it too, and I was almost tempted to get it at the time. However, there were/are some HB classics that I actually wanted full season/volume sets for (Flintstones, Jetsons, Scooby), but honestly there is a lot o...

I like the idea. I think that they will serve their purpose for those of us who don't want complete sets of all these cartoons. I'd like to own some of the cartoons on there for nostalgic purposes, but I don't think I could go for full boxed sets for all of them. It gives me the option of just buyin...

Yeah, Disney has been holding on to several Marvel properties. Hopefully they'll eventually release Spider-Man as well. One thing at a time though. Disney famously gets excited about a project and then when things don't go with their excessive expectations they balk on future ones (Gargoyles V. 3, t...

I don't think Bolt's nomination was a big surprise. Ever since this category began, they have also looked at the biggest movies for the category. I can think all the way back to the beginning when Jimmy Neutron's nomination was a surprise. It wasn't a surprise because Jimmy Neutron's quality (it was...

X-Men: The Animated Series coming to DVD!
This has got to be at the top of my list of unreleased cartoons. Most of them are under the Disney banner. I can't believe they finally are doing it. Here's hoping to the complete series being released chronologically. Check the news here: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/X-Men-Volumes-Announced/11203

I thought Bolt was great. I saw it with a group of 5 adults and we were all laughing and pretty much getting emotional throughout the movie. I think pet-lovers will really like this movie as we all did. I have to say that one of my favorite characters and the one I responded with the most amount of ...

Something might qualify, but it also has to be submitted by the studios to compete. All paperwork has to be submitted on time. Anyways, I expect that Wall-E will go for the win. The other two nominees should be Kung Fu Panda and maybe either Waltz with Bashir or Tale of Despereaux (if it's good). Th...
