Re: Song of the South

Yes, Eric. The attraction based off of Disney’s most popular movie ever only happened because of...whatever it is you just said. :? (Also, Disney is hardly alone with “updating” stuff in this regard, and Tiki Room at least appeared to be a big crowdpleaser when I went, which is why I’m baffle...

Re: Song of the South

Except that for legal reasons, Disney can't do something like that based off of a Change.Org petition. If they did, the person who wrote it might be able to claim they owed him for "using his idea." This is all getting so, so, so, so, so, so, so stupid. It's no longer a "Song of the South" ri...

Re: Song of the South

Yes, because THAT’S the reason we have racial injustice today. A movie from 80 years ago. Amazingly—and this might shock some idiots out there—I can find slavery morally repulsive AND still love GOTW. Imagine that? Seriously, this is why people need to hold onto their hard copies.

Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES

I loved the theatrical film, and as a longtime Snyder supporter, I'm very excited for this. :) But from what I've been able to gather...Whedon basically hijacked the film despite telling Snyder that he would "stay true to his vision" and instead made, well, a Joss Whedon flick. Which, to be fair, is...

Eric made that quote up. He’s done the exact same thing when “quoting” me.

Re: Scooby-Doo! Theatrical animated movie just announced

The problem with sending Scoob straight to home is there have already been a ton of straight-to-video Scooby-Doo movies already! It feels less “special” now.

Re: Trolls World Tour -- Review

Exactly. I enjoyed the film, but I will also confess there's no need to "rent it" for the same price one pays for the Blu-ray in just a couple of months (as I said in my review, you can already pre-order it on most online retailers!). It is interesting how "SCOOB!" doing the same that has (perhaps r...

Yes, DC Superhero Girls is great, and has a sly sense of humor not unlike MLP. It was previewed in theaters before the TTG movie.

Re: Scooby-Doo! Theatrical animated movie just announced

WB still has Fantastic Beasts 3 in production, so...

And I'd be willing to bet that The Academy makes some exceptions to the rules this year (even if only for this ceremony!).

Re: Song of the South

The only reason SOTS isn't available is because of the family-friendly Disney name. Any other studio would've been able to release it by now (and what a shame that people were "complaining" about Disney not censoring Dumbo for Disney+ after all). The bottom line is...the current climate is nuts. And...
