Re: Disney's Lilo & Stitch (Live-Action)

Surprised it's heading to Disney+ given that Stitch is still uber popular. Kinda bummed... It is?? Haven't seen Stitch at the theme parks in years, and Lilo's even harder to find. Things cooled quickly after the direct-videos officially finale'd the Disney Channel cartoon. Again, think we're about ...

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

Kind of surprised this one isn't getting a big screen release. https://whatsondisneyplus.com/lilo-stitch-live-action-remake-to-be-disney-exclusive/ Think Dumbo officially killed off the non-90's (and by "90's" they mean four movies only) big-screen releases EXCEPT for either: A) The high-priced nam...

Re: New Disney Streaming Service: Disney+

It was SUPPOSED to tie in with "Dr. Strange 2: Multiverse of Madness"'s plan for rebooting Phase IV, as a sort of Avengers version of "Into the Spiderverse", where we see the "wacky" alternate Wandas and Visions-- But now, we're just getting female-audience "wacky" jokes about un-PC 50's/70's housew...

Re: Hamilton

My dreams of "1776 II" were shattered when they announced the stage-concert version, and no mention yet whether it would be headed to Fathom.

Cats as a stage-concert video over a big-budget adaptation, maybe, but... :(

Re: Space Jam 2

Don Cheadle joins the cast. Now if only we could find out about Lola... Nope, sorry: Judging from the obnoxious direct-video "Rabbit Run", Lola's now official canon where WB is concerned, so she'll be back. :( Warner--still desperate for a "female demographic" LT marketing-hook character after find...

Also, further down the list: Friday, February 28 I Captured the King of Leprechauns So, they ARE showing classic Disneyland episodes from the Disney Treasures tins (this one from both the Darby O'Gill disc and the "Your Host, Walt Disney" set), but, like "The Plausible Impossible", showing them as s...

On the subject of anime, I'm sorry, I can't even look at that shot of an anime-ized Captain America without seeing Urusei Yatsura 's Super Delicious Planet Golden Special Reserve Gorgeous Aftercare Kit #28. (For those anime fans who weren't old-school and don't get the classic ref: https://urusei-ya...

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!

Probably the same for remaining Tex M-G-M 'one-shot' classics, like King Size Canary or The Cat Who Hated People . And the GLARING, conspicuous absence of Magical Maestro among the classic Tex MGM one-shots. https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5smu6k Not a deal-breaker, but close. They'd better have...

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!

Not chronological, ala Compleat or Popeye. That's slightly disappointing since I know that's what a lot of us were hoping for. "Big-Heel Watha" is on the disc though and that's one of the controversial shorts. That right there shows promise. Looks like Warner's doing what they did the last time the...

Re: WB Archive Collection: DVDs On Demand!

I'd have rather seen the Complete Droopy set re-released by itself in addition to the miscellaneous MGM Tex, but this is Warner, and they're nervous that paying customers won't buy a vintage Tex set without the toons they know from Roger Rabbit. And now to keep up pressure for that Tex At Warner set...
