Re: Animated Views Reviews and Interviews Discussion
Thanks. I searched but didn't find what I was looking for. I'll try other sites. I like happy singing bunnies and I actually think conflicts in stories should only really come from within the main group the story is about, outside villains just seem so thrown in! I guess with happy bunnies the only ...

Re: Animated Views Reviews and Interviews Discussion
I sent an E-mail about this already, but it didn't get responded to. I am not sure, but I thought I saw a headline for a review here about a film that "had no conflict" and I was wondering if I remembered correctly and if anyone wrote such a thing here. And then if anyone did I would like to know wh...

Re: Tangled (formerly Rapunzel)
Fine. Then at least you will see these three things I say are all new points: The first is that you said "it just wasn't the film you wanted" to me like I was the only one who wanted it traditional, but other people, including official animators like Glen Keane and Floyd Norman (who knew Walt Disney...

Re: Tangled (formerly Rapunzel)
It should be obvious why I post mostly in this topic. It's because this is such an important film for Disney and one that was almost Disney at it's most traditional, but got changed at the last minute. It also was going to be a film that made me feel happy like I haven't been in a very long time...a...

Dacey , did you actually read all I wrote? If you did, okay, but this is the first time I have posted in like three weeks! And the reason I posted is because of the review ! Ben posted his thoughts, which were relatively the same as he said before, so that means I should get to give my opinion, abo...

Re: Tangled (formerly Rapunzel)
Well, you knew it was gonna happen...and if you didn't change your opinions, yet still voice them, then I can do the same, can't I? But you may be surprised how reasonable I am this time around, and how much we agree. So I read the review, and the review didn't mention it, but did Tangled actually m...

Re: "SUPER" Gift for Ben
I am sorry to say I absolutely hated the character designs for the short...Superman strangely looked kind of old, even...but I loved the animation! I just wish...I knew what happened next!

Wow, wrong with the same sentence twice! It's amazing how one little word changes the whole thing. I meant just because robbing a bank is not as bad as killing someone, it's still very bad. I think you're missing that they don't just lampoon controversial issues. They make fun of issues that are sen...

Oh, I wrote that wrong. I meant that even though robbing a bank is not as bad as killing someone, it still isn't forgivable. So I meant even if American Dad isn't making fun of the worst things we can possibly thing of, it's still close, and still bad. If only they would cut some of those so bad jok...

Hey, your not slow. That review made me really, really interested. I looked at the review because it sounded like something really special was up, so good for your interest-making. I dunno though. I'm not a comics guy, and I don't know when I would watch the movie, but if I ever did, would it ruin a...

I don't consider a show being awful and having jokes that are morally awful the same thing. Of course the show isn't a stinker, because it makes us laugh...just at the worst possible things we could laugh at. Okay, perhaps not the very worst possible, but second worst. But just because you didn't ki...

I agree that's true, but to a point. When talking about what Disney did in the past, which set examples for how their new films should be, there was a very clear and obvious breaking of the rules and breaking of what is Disney. So while I agree some things are opinion, when it comes to keeping Disne...
