Just when a simple game of telephone can't get any more chaotic, in comes Sam and Liam.

Re: Disney Movie Rewards

The Insider rewards have become even more sparse since the pandemic. Honestly, I think this whole Insider thing hasn't been thought out all that well in the rewards department.

Re: Hamilton

It seems they filmed the performance before the pandemic hit as the film will be launching on Disney+. 8)

I rather like that it's launching on July 3.

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Been kinda chillin' for the most part, which is not unusual since I'm generally a cave troll by nature. My mom did have to come by earlier than expected (family issues) and I picked her up on Friday night. Thing is she's coming from Hawaii and Hawaiian Airlines is only going to a limited number of l...

Re: Critical Role

Staying in doors doesn't mean the Critical Role gang can't figure out ways to have fun.

Here's two episodes of their new show "Narrative Telephone" and behold the chaos that unfolds.

The last short has presumably been uploaded, so here's the complete collection of the "At Home with Olaf" shorts. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dL1kDLQ8-kg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hImeU_jqqOU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BiKZZQhk9YM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_1Hp09T9pQ ...

Re: YouTube Goodness

I figure I'd post them here since they're only online for a limited time. As part of a fundraiser, National Threatre has posted in full two performances of Danny Boyle's 2011 stage production of Frankenstein starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller. A unique feature of the production was t...

Re: Disney's Hercules (Live-Action)

It might make a spiffy film if they can pull it off. I always liked Hercules and seeing this iteration in live-action might be fun.

I will say, though, this only increases my yearning to see in full the stage musical they did in Central Park last year.

Re: Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Was actually thinking about that a moment ago on the drive home, Rand. Yep, Comic Con isn't happening this year. Honestly, it was just a matter of time before it was official. On top of everything, the convention center is sheltering the homeless during the pandemic, so it's not like they ...

Re: Criterion Collection

My late grandfather would similarly re-title movies to add extra words, even extra letters, whenever he's trying to describe what he's watching or talking about. "A Marriage Story" would so be something he would call the movie. Fingers crossed that Criterion does indeed look into possibly ...

Here's the breakdown of the seven-disc set, according to the Criterion web site: 4K digital restorations of The Big Boss, Fist of Fury, Game of Death, and The Way of the Dragon, with uncompressed original monaural soundtracks New 2K digital restoration of the rarely-seen 99-minute 1973 theatrical ve...
