Re: San Diego Comic-Con 2011
My write up of my experience at Comic Con is on my devART page: http://lordakiyama.deviantart.com/journal/42810704/ Highlights include the mentioned Tintin panel, also the annual Fables panel that I place priority above all others, the Legend of Korra panel, the annual Quick Draw! and both Cartoon V...

Re: San Diego Comic-Con 2011
I plan to put together a big overview of the panels and events I managed to get to, but there's one panel I went to this morning that I just needed to share immediately. The Adventures of Tin-Tin panel was absolutely phenomenal. I'll explain more soon, but Steven Spielberg was there, at the beginnin...

Re: San Diego Comic-Con 2011
Some movie studios may not be in town, but that doesn't mean there's a heck a lot of Hollywood still going on this year. Here are some of the highlights: - 2,000 attendees will get a chance to screen "Cowboys and Aliens" a week before it comes out on Saturday night. Further more, the screening will ...

Re: Winnie the Pooh (2011)
Craig Ferguson did a quasi-Winnie the Pooh themed episode of The Late Late Show last night. In addition to him talking about the movie, in which he voices Owl, he also interviews Zooey Deschanel, who sings three songs in the film, and Jim Cummings, the voice of Winnie and Tigger. Be warned that the ...

Re: Peter Jackson's The Hobbit
After what seemed like forever, Peter has finally posted a second production video. Though it primarily concerns with location scouting while most everyone else is going on break, there is some Andy Serkis footage of interest: one of him as Gollum and the other of him doing second unit work. http://...

Re: Looney Tunes
I'm fairly caught up on The Looney Tunes Show. It's not spectacular, but there are bits and pieces that I found myself enjoying. It appears that episodes will be alternating between which would feature the Merry Melodies music sequence or the Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote CGI short, though it seems to ...

I'm psyched. I'm telling you, I'm psyched.
I remember watching some of the cartoons Nickelodeon used to air in the early days and liked them. Seeing what Spielberg and Jackson do along with Edgar Wright and Steven Moffat should be exciting.

Re: Looney Tunes
So I caught the first episode of The Looney Tunes Show this week. Well... ... I'm willing to watch a couple more episodes. But I dunno if it's working for me. It wasn't entirely terrible, but I didn't think it was anything great either. Also, they cut the CG Road Runner/Wile E. Coyote short that was...
