Re: YouTube Goodness

I was a dancer way back when. One of the shows I was in was a production of The Music Man and it was the most fun yet challenging choreography I ever did! The Family Guy version had me laughing at how much of it they actually did, and impressed by how accurate it was!

Movie collection cataloging

This is mainly aimed at Ben and Randall, but I thought it might make an interesting public discussion so am posting it here. Do you guys have any sort of movie cataloging software for your collections? I used to have one when my collection was much bigger but that program is no longer supported. Eve...

Re: Tim Conway RIP

From Wikipedia: "...He has lent his voice to other TV shows including The Simpsons, Disney spin-off Hercules, Lloyd in Space, The Wild Thornberrys, Cybill, What's New, Scooby-Doo?, The Proud Family, Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!, Caillou, and What's with Andy?. He also narrated The Secret Shortcut in Re...

Re: Forum Update 2019

You're taking us down memory lane today!

The stars matched our old logo. When we got rid of the star logo, we changed the rank image to match our then new review scores.

Re: Forum Update 2019

The "blue wraparound" is gone for good! It was a great framing device when we did it, but with screens coming in so many sizes from tiny to huge it was time to go with something less limiting. For some reason I can't get those avatars to center align! I spent a long time on it and couldn't figure it...

Re: Forum Update 2019

I've started retheming the forum to match our new style. Still lots to do but I was tired of that generic look so went live with what's done! Still do to: - spoiler button fix - search engine - fix google ad size - finish redesigning some pages (new/edit post, profile, etc...) - install chat room - ...

Re: Avengers and the MCU

It wasn’t as good as IW as a stand-alone film, but I thought it was a fun but fitting end to the Infinity saga.

Re: MS Walk

I’m not sure. Our actual part ends on Saturday. But the donation page will probably stay open because there will be Walks in other cities throughout the summer.

MS Walk

I don't post about personal stuff too often so hopefully you'll excuse me for taking this opportunity. My wife has multiple sclerosis. She doesn't really bring it up outside our close friends and family so I've not mentioned it before either. I've been exercising for several years now because of my ...

Re: Forum Update 2019

We can't stop all the spambots but we're getting a whole lot less since updating to the latest version of the forum software.

The spoiler tag was something we added not a default feature of the forum so I'll have to manually add that code back in. Thanks for the reminder!

Re: Forum Update 2019

VI: Don’t get used to it! It’s just the default style of our forum you get as soon as you install the software. I’ll be customizing it to match the new AV styling soon.

BEN: Not a fan of that either. I like to see the name of the person who wrote the post I’m about to read first.

Forum Update 2019

You may have noticed things look a little generic around here! I've just updated the forum software to the newest version. Normally I would wait to do something like that until after I had done all the AV styling first. But due to a ton of spam posts lately I decided to update first, and make it pre...

Re: Oscar Contest 2019 - 15th Anniversary!

For the past few years I've been boring and just picked the winners from each Guild. This year I'm throwing caution to the wind and just gonna vote for my actual favourite (or who I want to win) in each category. It's not like the guilds have ever helped me win, so why not just go with potluck Look...
