"A Guy Like You" is pretty lame, IMO.

While the original Simpsons shorts were charmingly NASTY the original character designs are as far removed from the look of the current TV series as a Wright flyer is from a Boeing 747...! Most of the fans of those shorts can overlook their crude looks and mediocre animation to see that something g...

I agree, Shan-Yu was a real diappointment. Maybe they were afraid of making him "too evil" and thus be accused of racism or something. But he was already so flat, and he didn't even have a celebrity voice! (Jim Cummings played him, of course). I'm guessing that all through the production they...

Hmmmm....hadn't thought of that. But one thing comes to mind.....(this is going to drive fans of the film nuts) In the film, Hades didn't know until Hercules' 18th birthday that Pain and Panic hadn't killed him. But in the series, Hades is interacting with/battling Hercules (a "hero in traini...

Ah, Pocahontas, the one everyone was betting on.... Actually I like it a lot. Maybe the story is a little weak, but I still think it's an awesome film. I love the songs. I always liked "If I never knew you" (It's a pop song on the soundtrack) and can't wait to see it in the film. One question: Will ...

I think that's because he balanced the "charming, charismatic" side of Hades with the quietly menacing side very well. He was likable, but quite evil as well. "WHAT? THE FATES ARE HERE AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME????!!!!" (Blue hair turns flaming red) "Hades, Lord of the Dead. How ya doin'?" In the TV ca...

Wrote this at JHM: I think I had one of the first issues ever, August 1988. (I was ten years old). It was mostly just activities for kids and a few articles on Disneyland "For Parents." I was soooo excited to have it, though. Disney was definetely on the rise back then. (I know it was 1988 because t...

Hmmmm.....I've never heard of any other version, but that's fascinating. Maybe it was produced in another country. About two years before the Little Mermaid came out, I saw a Dutch/Anime version of the ORIGINAL story on rented videocasette. It had the REAL ending of the story (Prince Eric falls in l...

Sterling Holloway is the bomb!!!!!! :) I think he did: Pooh Bear (SOOOO much better than Jim Cummings  ) Kaa the Snake that ranger in the Humphrey Bear cartoons ....and others... What I DON'T understand is why they replaced the Holloway version in the first place. The jokes JUST DON'...

I am now the proud owner of Mickey Mouse: In Living Color Volume II. (I want Volume I too but for right now, it's a bit too expensive.) It rules!!! The only thing I don't like is that STUPID, STUPID Edgar Bergen (is that his name?) narration on Mickey and the Beanstalk rather than Sterling Holloway'...

This makes me sad, because I really liked the "tradigital" films.

Especially Spirit, Prince of Egypt and Joseph: King of Dreams. They were even making a Noah film at one point....it's a real shame.

Yeah...I get it. I figured it was kind of bogus when I saw how many other petitions were on that site.

The only thing I wonder about is if on-line petitions are so inaffective, then why did SaveDisney.com employ this method? (and still does?)
