I'm not him. :? I just think he deserves respect is all. K is WAY COOL. It's so obvious how much he loves animation. He saw it as a burden when he came to Disney and then he got to love it more than anything. That's pretty amazing. He was instrumental in making Disney what it is. He ran the TV and m...

You're a real shill for DreamWorks, aren't you? If I didn't know better, I'd swear you worked for them! No surprise to me that The Incredibles swept the Annies. There's very little love lost for DreamWorks films amongst the animation professional crowd. : Tell me about it! I swear you wouldn...

Annies

Shrek 2 barely won anything....darn.... :(

I'm glad Incredibles did well, but they didn't have to stiff SharkTale that way. :x

Oh, and congrats to Disney for winning Destino--I mean LORENZO. Whatever.

Goofy Movie

Y'know, as it weird as it may seem, the original Goofy Movie was considered to be a "lesser" film when it came out (1995) even though it had a theatrical release. Sort of along the lines of "Return of Jafar" except not DTV.
Now it seems a million times better than most of what Disney does.

I don't know if he had a facelift but he definetely lost weight if you compare this year to last year. And Iger's chances will probably be hurt by this book. You can find out more about the whole Iger/Eisner thing in Kim Masters' book, The Keys to the Kingdom. According to the book, Iger was "a bit ...

"DisneyWar" coming out on March 7

This new book apparently has so much dirt on the Disney company that the PR head might very well be resigning because of the embarrassment. It's supposed to be even worse for Bob Iger than Eisner because Eisner's leaving anyway. Full story at www.newyorkpost.com (Under "Mouse Trouble" in the busines...

Medved

Special Ed, have you ever heard of conservative writer/commentator Michael Medved? He says a lot of the things you say about Hollywood and family content/religion being ignored. You might find his website interesting: www.michaelmedved.com  Also, if you think about it, wasn't Prince of Egypt a...

At the end of the day, Shrek 2 was a sequel. Bigger and better, but a re-tread. The Incredibles was a gamble, albeit one by one of the coolest directors at one of the best studios out there, and more original. And since when did Katzenberg not get anything for animation - hasn't he picked up a few ...

Incredibles/Shrek 2

I thought Shrek was a riot, and I LOVED Incredibles. It's hard to choose. However, much as it PAINS me to say this, I have to say that Incredibles deserves to win. Shrek was wonderful in its own way, but essentially...it was covering old ground. But it would be so cool if it DID win and JK went up t...

What really gets me about these two is the bad registration, even worse than Don Bluth's budget made films. Funny thing is, he was only working at constraints of $11-19m during the 80s, so it can be done with better quality, even if his stories were over tampered with. I see that all the Don Bluth ...

Eisner speaking French

On VH1's I love the 90's, there's a clip of him addressing a Parisian audience in not-so-great French when EuroDisney opened (I love '92).

poster

I saw it, and I think it looks fake too.

Much too crowded and more photo-influenced than "drawn" looking, which was what made the other posters really cool.
