DW

Despite being a fan of DW I kind of have to agree...too many animal comedies with "in-jokes"--SharkTale, Madagascar, Over the Hedge, AND Father of the Pride. (if you count it) Oh and that rat movie...Flushed Away. More opportunities for toilet humor...literally. I wish they would go back to making 2...

kids

I think I meant that he acted well with them. (I haven't seen the film, but it got positive reviews.) There are four boys he acts with.

Walken

Personally, I'd loved to have seen Walken in the role...now that would be a chilling Wonka. As it is, I'll hold out my doubts on this one, but totally hear where you're coming from. Walken would be hilarious: "Scooch closer, children. Don't make me tell you...about the scooching!" (The Simpsons) :r...

teaser

Just watched it. I loved the look of the film, and the zaniness. It seemed kind of dark too which I definetely appreciated. You couldn't really tell what JD's performance will be like, since we didn't really see him talk. It seemed interesting though, like always with him. HOWEVER, WHAT IS WITH THAT...

Christian Bale

I LOVED Empire of the Sun...one of my VERY FAVORITE Spielberg movies. :P

BTW did anyone see Swing Kids? Bale was in that too. It was a Disney movie. He was also in Newsies. (Not blaming him for it LOL).

I believe that he'll be brilliant. Can't wait to see the new trailer! 8)

Charlie

"Is he giving off too much of a strange Oompa-Loopa vibe?" -Dr. Evil on Mini-me, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. I just hope the Oomp Loompas don't SING in this one. Remember the cheesy sixties psychedelic words popping up? Anyway, I think Tim Burton is gifted in no matter what he does, even ...

perspective

I"m not saying what DW is doing is completely right but like George C. said this is a competitive business and things like that happen. (Yeah I know I brought the whole subject up, but I admit that I made too big a deal out of it :?) BTW it might help to see K's POV. Disney has been trying to destro...

DW

"Let's not forget "Over the Hedge"... ...imdb.com quotes it as having a 2006 release AND that Jim Carrey was replaced with Bruce Willis! There's another DW release for ya, Violet" Ha, ha. Thanks, Stego. :) From what I've heard, "The Wild" sounds suspiciously like Madagascar.....I think it's also abo...

Release date of Cars

I can't believe Disney changed it to June 1. Of course it's going to cut right into Madagascar. *Sigh* Another Pixar-DreamWorks-Disney battle coming up.....

Two-Face

Maybe the tiny part of Harvey that was left inside knew that he had to kill "himself" in order for Two-Face's reign to be over......

*pondering.......*

Batman Forever

I thought Batman Forever had some good qualities. They just weren't organized into a consistent story. I liked the very end when Two-Face flips the coin so he can decide what to do, and Batman throws in a whole bunch of other coins to mix him up, and that, like, drives him crazy. Plus I think that T...

Tron is definitely NOT "best forgotten"! But it speaks volumes that, as a HUGE Bob Z fan and someone who likes Hanks as an actor, that I haven't caught Polar Express yet, even though it's been out a week here in the UK (the fact I've been unltra busy hasn't helped), but I don't feel the urge to run...
