"Isn't that a little like an artist signing a picture he didn't draw??" Like Disney puting their name on Nightmare Before Christmas and Pixar films? Or when Leonard Maltin signs them? Roy represents the only Disney at the company and was head of animation. Who else would sign it? In case you haven't...

Steve Jobs has a thing going with Eisner. You have to know how Jobs his to get why he says stuff like that. It's hiss style.

As for the Pixar boys, I never took them to be cocky. I also took it as dishing it right back to Katzenberg and Eisner. nothing conceited about it.

"Oops...I wasn't totally thinking when I wrote that.... " Yeah, we've noticed that pettern with you.....;) Lindsey is a whore and Walt never would have let a "star" like her appear in one of his FAMILY films.... As for Herbie being a star, the original Love Bug was one of the top grossing films of a...

"They actually do make films people want to see: and they're mostly animated!" I was talking live action films. Most of the films nominated bombed and other films were outright snubbed. There is something said for not basing nomination on ticket sales but I think a lot of films are snubbed because o...

" Well, there's no way of knowing this of course." I hear a lot less complain about Lasseter than Katzenberg. "BTW I don't know John Lassetter but I've seen recent interviews with him on the Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo DVDs and he seemed kind of stuck-up to me. Very full of himself." I never read ...

I'll amend what I said, I think the NAACP has become misguded in recent years. They just had a meeting over the weeknd and attacked Collin Powell and Condi Rice as selling out to the white man ways that's why they succeeded. I find such talk to be very odd and very strange. "a few self-imposed "lead...

Hollywood also needs to start making films people WANT to go out and see.

AS already said, Oscar has become completely political. That's to bad.

" That was only because I thought I'd let the thread go...I didn't see your reply so I thought the discussion was over. You don't have to take it so personally. " No, I was just busy. "It's not just me...Jim Hill has said that same thing and I've read in articles that Roy liked to spend more time wi...

I have a question for you, Animan. To many of us "white guys" it always appears that the minority groups like NAACP want to segrgate themselves from all other groups because they're always the first to slap these PC names on themselves instead of medling with everyone else. Does it seem that way to ...

You know though, this is more BS. The Oscars were down even more nation wide but the numbers being reported only reflect urban viewers.

Disney doesn't care what people want. They're just looking for filler to pad out more waves. When the Treasures ends without all the animation titles release it's tough noogie to us.

Yes, the sexual allegations against Cosby were proven false so the woman is filing a civil suit instead. It's clear that she only did this because of Cosby's statements about the black community in the US. Now if he were white and said those hings he'd be deemed racist, since he's bllack they have t...
