Um... Opinons... They're great, aren't they? :) Anyway, for me: Big opening - too much too fast. Rescuing Palpatine - very good, fun and adventurous with even some of the humor of the OT! Then, everything went downhill. Padme is pregnant despite Anakin not being around (??) and everything starts hap...

Well, I wasn't a big fan of Big Fish in the slightest (compared to Scissorhands, Beetlejuice and what we know Burton is capable of), and I totally agree with you on the set design (and seeing that in the first trailer). Where has TB been dismissive of the original film? I would have thought he'd bee...

I thought it was funny how one of the commercials during the broadcast was for Madagascar. How come? The Disney/ABC vs. DreamWorks thing? Surely if they pay their money, they have just as much right to advertise on ABC as anyone else, and wouldn't they want to push their family-orientated animated ...

Now I'm REALLY stokced to get the DVD!

We likely won't see this in the UK until next Christmas, so I'll put the disc on my wish list! :)

I thought Muppets Take Manhattan had a lot of heart. That, for me, was the last of the truly great classics, but thought that Muppets Christmas Carol pulled off the trick of making a Henson movie without Jim pretty well (and is my favorite Caine performance ever). Caper would be my all time favorite...

When were they re-numbered? I have paper-back printing boxed set from at least the mid-1970s, and Magician's Nephew was numbered one and is the way I've always read them. I know that it wasn't the first one published, but since it was a prequel to LW&W and chronologically the first, they should have...

Do you guys realise that you only need to move only one letter in the word 'Sith' to spell out what that movie is?

Seriously, now you're all seeing it, I can say how disappointed I was. I stand by what I said here last week that it is "bigger" than Clones, but not better.

Likely? It IS the reason it is being made, no question. INT: DISNEY EXEC SUITE "Wow, those LOTR movies really bombed, right? Good job we took a pass on it when Bob brought it to us. Luckily, we don't own any properties like that!" Enter junior Walden Media guy. "Hey, since our Around The World movie...

True... the film is out June 29 and nothing yet, though the ET preview will mean it will turn up attached to prints soon (next week)?

My guess is some theaters showing Star Wars will run it.

Well, this is a real shame. Not sure it's something to post on the main page though, and the bad news is spreading enough. I'm waiting for a dual player that will handle both (and has been suggested by several manufacturers). BTW, the "new" format from Toshiba isn't actually a "third" format, but ra...

I love the Muppets and will probably pick this up, since we won't get it in the UK for a while, possibly not until Christmas (we had to wait a year for the last Christmas one too). The only thing I've really felt let the franchise down recently was Kermit's Swampt Years, which was extremely lame. Ev...

I think, with respect, you mean "worthy" animated films, but I totally get your point. I would argue that, Japanimation anime aside, the last film of this type, from the Mouse House at least, was Brother Bear, which shared much with Pocahontas in terms of style and pace (though not, I grant you, tal...

OMG!

That's like asking how long is a piece of string! Practically every second-bean, underwritten sidekick on any television animation show.

There. Happy now? ;)
