Re: Will Disney buy DWA?

Are those evening tickets or morning? I tend to find morning showings to be much cheaper, and, no joke, there's even a nearby theater that has tickets for $3.25 for the first showings of the day I rarely go to the cinema because the ticket prices are far too expensive here in New Zealand too. The t...

Pixar documentaries on Netflix

Being on dial-up and in New Zealand, I can't check this, but apparently ...
Netflix (at least in Canada) has a bunch of Bloomberg documentaries. One of them is about Pixar and John Lasseter. The title is Inside Pixar.

Re: [Parody] Doctor Who by Disney

The Disney-fied image might have made more sense with Clara since she's the only companion (so far) to have visited all regenerations fo the Doctor ... but then Amy is the one who wished for the raggedy man to come back.

Re: Disney's Frozen

Saturday's newspaper here in New Zealand had these two articles (must have been a extremely slow news day since they made it onto page 3!) ... The Disney film that's stolen my children's brains (NZ Herald title: Frozen melts kids, leaves parents cold) "Like the plot of a particularly dark episode of...

Re: [Parody] Doctor Who by Disney

The "female star of the show" is probably pulled over from the Disney side of the parody ... Snow White, Beauty, Ariel, etc. A good proportion of Disney movies have female stars.

[Parody] Doctor Who by Disney

What If Disney Made An Animated Doctor Who Movie? Would the House of Mouse be able to squeeze every Doctor into a single animated film? Artist Stephen Byrne imagines what that movie poster might look like. You can see the full-sized image at Byrne's Facebook page . He also has a rather cheeky respo...

No need to get snarky because you didn't think of it first. ;)

Re: Into the Woods

Part of the problem is the massive egos in Hollyweird where far too many of them think they know better than the person who had the actual talent to create the original. :( Sometimes things are changed because they simply won't work in a TV / movie format ... which begs the question, why did they st...

Re: Thunderbirds Are Go (again, maybe)

From the New Zealand TV Guide's junk email today ... F.A.B. Scott! News this week that the iconic 1960s kids' adventure series, Thunderbirds , is to make a TV comeback in 2015 with a big dollop of Kiwi input and expertise will have excited fans of the show. Let's just forget the dismally-failed 2004...

Re: The Descendants

Disney has released the first promo image for the forthcoming television movie centered on the offspring of some famous Disney baddies.
"The Descendants" - sounds more like it should have been the sequel to The Croods. ;)
