There is apparent difference between establishing new way of making movies and going this way (like Pixar did) and destroing its own roots (like Disney is doing now). This is why "everyone" blames Disney, not Pixar :) Do You suggest that creating something new is equally worth to blame as destroing ...

Example 1: Animatrix along with original Matrix was the best piece of film material on whole Matrix stuff. 9 great episodes - little animation masterpiceces. Only one of them was totally CGI short (Final Flight of the Osiris) and IMHO that was the weakest part (mainly storywise but emotionally also)...

Sure, but if you change that logic so it uses animals... LION (Shrek) eats HYENA (Monsters Inc.)...HYENA eats ZEBRA (The Incredibles). Using this logic, a bigger LION (shrek 2) will eat the ZEBRA. ;) hehehe, and so on... ...Lion eats Zebra, Zebra eats grass, Lion doesn't eat grass... Now what ? heh...

Finally, as for animated feature, you have to forget that it is a sequel and judge it on it's own. If Cinderella was a sequel to Snow White, would that affect Cinderella in any way? IMO, Monsters Inc. was better than Incredibles...Shrek beat Monsters Inc... Critics say that Shrek 2 was better than ...

Conflicting informations here in Poland. Depending of what source we will draw from running time is varying from 105, through 115 up to 122 (!!!) minutes. I hope that the last number is correct
