I think its a little weird they showed Shrek's babies in the trailer! They should've kept it a surprise.

I don't think its necessary for a Disney film featuring black people to be set in Africa. :? Disney has moved so far away from their formula and what they are loved for, that I'm glad they are returning to their roots and hitting the music scene hard. New Orleans/Jazz Age sounds like an excellent se...

As much as I love "The Little Mermaid", I always find it hard to rank the films from 1989-1999, as I love them all.

I can't wait to see "The Little Match Girl". I'm glad they followed through with the original, unconventional ending.

Has anyone heard the Broadway Demo of "The Little Mermaid"? Most of the songs are quite good.

I like the new logo. It reminds me of old-fashioned Disney in a way.

Yep, but Schwartz is doing the lyrics for Enchanted and, most likely, for Frog Princess too, so I think that's where Jake was making the comparison.
Sorry, I didn't clarify that connection at all. It was late

This will be a fantastic hit. People, whether they know it or not, are absolutely itching for a traditional traditional Disney movie, and a princess musical is as about as pure as it can be. Sorry, Meg, this one is based on the original fairy-tale (from Russian folklore if I'm not mistaken). I reme...

I wonder if DreamWorks might get back into 2d as well...my opinion is there's a good chance. :) Sinbad was only released three years ago, after all. Lets hope so! I don't know if "Sinbad" is actually a good film or if its because I miss 2D, but I really liked it. They were starting to produce real ...

Its official! Alan Menken will be composing the music :) Disney Developing The Frog Princess Walt Disney Feature Animation is developing The Frog Princess with plans to produce it in traditional 2-D style, rather than the 3-D CGI method that has become ubiquitous recently. Variety reports that accor...

Yeah, I remember that even months before Home on the Range came out, people were already moaning "2d is dead, 2d is dead....." Kinda pessimistic....I mean if Disney really HATED 2d and was determined to kill it off (which they weren't, at least not in my opinion) HOTR would have gone directly to vi...

I really like Pixar's shorts and I thought "One Man Band" was really clever.

I saw Mickey Rooney in "Wizard of Oz" when it toured through Minneapolis. I really like his work, and "Night At The Museum", I agree, looks really entertaining.

Its getting mixed reviews, 43% currently at Rotten Tomatoes.

I was surprised that they're going with another CGI film based on ants, too. But I liked the trailer and I LOVE Jimmy Neutron, so I will probably see this.
