I did manage to grab the Aardvark and Christmas discs, but not this one yet.

But I will, and hopefully there's enough sales to prompt a final volume out there too. :)

Man Called Flintstone DID make it to R1...but at the last minute was distributed only in Canada, possibly because Columbia's rights on the film were not up yet in the US. But the disc is clearly not a "Canandian exclusive", being a regular R1 disc from WB. It's out in a very nice open matte transfer...

Seriously awesome:

How would all the (modern-day, live-action) Batmans square up to each other if they had to fight?

Perhaps TOO excellently compiled...could this be some kind of WB viral thing?

Awwwe c'mon guys, that packaging (bed)rocks! As someone without the Flintstones on DVD at all, this is a no-brainer for me if it's priced right. They should include The Man Called Flintstone as a special box bonus. I have that anyway, and it would be frustrating to those with the sets already, but i...

I think I've merged all the Despereaux threads together...Dan - you confused me by including the link to this thread in your above message and I spent four days trying to merge it into itself!

We should, now, only have one Despereaux thread...all mixed into this one! Phew! :)

http://disney.go.com/index?intoverride=true Well, for a movie that's nothing like what it set out to be, this looks entertaining enough...nothing special but something that may well have some genuinely solid moments that pull it through. I'm impressed by the animation - I think Disney has come on le...

About what I was expecting. Pretty nice design (One Man Band?) and while I think the lack of over-acting is actually refreshing, it still looks a bit forced. I'm certainly not going for Despereaux's voice either (Broderick?) and the "hey, this is a bit like Ratatouille" marketing. If only Sylvain Ch...

You're very welcome, loeper.

Here's hoping you stick around these here forums. Perhaps you'd care to discuss the film once you have seen it again?

This is undoubtedly Watership Down, Martin Rosen's film based on Richard Adams' book. :) It's big favorite around here with some folk, but hold off on a DVD - it's due to be re-issued in the fall by Warner Brothers in a deluxe 30th Anniversary edition, since the film was released in 1978. In ...

Snowy's age has, over the years and a few books, been nailed down to being about 14. This comes from Walt's story meetings as relayed in Brian Sibley's terrific book, if I remember correctly. Since "wenches" and the like were taken for wives much younger in those days, this does work out that the Pr...
