http://www.darkhorizons.com/news08/080317l.php According to this article, what we saw in the trailer aren't finished shots, so we can expect the Hulk and Abomination to look even better in the final product :]. I share the writer's concern with the fight being potentially over-drawn-out, but I'm hop...

I think it's a little more than just stylisation that can't be translated into 3d, but I really can't put my finger on it. The most recent time this thought came across my head was when I was watching Bee Movie. Throughout the flick, I kept thinking that the whole thing would have really looked so m...

Man, this series has just surpassed my expectations! I didn't get my expectations too high though because I didn't want to get my hopes up but.....WOW. Is this thing animated in Korea? No offence to Korean animation studios, but I get the feeling the answer is 'no' - the animation looks way too good...

What's the latest trailer you guys have been talking about? :P Is it this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcMnSwg52hg ? There was a link to Disney.com a page or two ago, but it seems to be dead now. D: I'm really excited that Mae Whitman's voicing Tinkerbell - that's a huge selling point for me :P.

From what the previews seem to indicate, it seems that Professor Xavier vanishes (I doubt he died in that explosion), and after that, the X-me broke down. Now Wolverine's trying to rally everyone together again, and he's leading :]. Also, despite his leadership and authority, he probably still figur...

Avatar was always intended to be a 3-season long arc. The story ends in Book 3: Fire. :( I'm sad because that means when Season 3's over, there's no more gAang :(. But on the other hand, it's good that it ends rather than drags on and loses it's 'mighty sting'. HOWEVER, there is a bright side, Brian...

I grew up on the 90's series, but despite that, I think I prefer Evolution :]. Man, I just have such a huge weakness for Kitty :P. She completely made X-Men Evolution for me :]. Heck, I just like the character designs for all the women :P. Wolverine and the X-men....dunno about this - it's very simi...

Huge Avatar fan right here *waves hand* :]. I own the DVD boxed sets for the first and second season ('Books' 1 and 2). Sadly. they don't contain the mini-comics that come with the individual DVDs :(. However, I think that the special features you get in the boxed set are the same as you can find if...

Aha, so here's where the thread went :P. Thanks for all the feedback, guys :]. I'll likely be picking up the cheaper Region 3 DVDs for the Disney stuff (they have these special edition dvds for several other Disney flicks) but I'm still so torn over whether or not to get the Secret of NIMH Family Fu...

Re: Secret of NIMH Family Fun Edition
One more thing (I hadn't planned on asking this, but as long as I'm here...) is it worth shelling (pun not intended) out all the extra money for the Little Mermaid Platinum edition, or can I be happy with the Special Edition which still includes The Little Match Girl? There's only two DVDs of The L...

Disney Princesses Masterpiece Jigsaw
Sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this in - feel free to move it if it is. :] The other day, I was in a jigsaw store and I saw these two lovely Disney Princess jigsaws from some 'Masterpiece' series. Indeed, the artwork on these were beautiful - there was one for Belle and one for Cinderella ...

Secret of NIMH Family Fun Edition
Hey guys - I plan on purchasing the Anastasia Family Fun edition because I love the film very much and because of Animated Views' glowing review of the DVD set :]. I haven't seen the Secret of NIMH for a very, very long time, but Anastasia has sparked a sudden interest in catching up with more Don B...

I think it's in the 20's, judging by the concept art, but I could be wrong. Oh yeah- that was that bit with the parade and that giant float with the horse? Hmmm- I forgot about that. In truth, I'm a little worried because to me, the setting doesn't quite feel timeless enough. Still, I'll reserve ju...

I think he was talking about doing an African based human feature along the lines of One By One, as was mentioed above somewhere. :) Yuppers- that was what I was talking about :). I was thinking of something along the lines of a tale set in some African kingdom, or large tribe. The trouble is that ...
