The only live-action property I've heard Brad Bird's name associated with is 1906 , which is about the great San Francisco earthquake. John Carter of Mars is 'floating around' the Disney studio right now .. and could conceivably end up at Pixar .. but they've also recently partnered with Robert Zeme...

It's a 'still' from the HD trailer .. an 'extreme' pose, but 100% real. :P

While the father rat says "Stay away from the humans; they're dangerous," we see the Maître de grab Remy underneath a trolley, while reaching for a pepper-grinder.

The Lion King was ostensibly geared for children...but man, there was some HEAVY stuff in that film. Seeing your father murdered as a child (OK, lion cub) and blaming yourself for it. Having to fight your uncle to the near-death (well, OK, right before the the hyenas kill him) to get back the kingd...

It's not a quote from The Three Musketeers (I've just watched it again, to make sure).

I think ShyViolet has said this was a line originally intended for the Mickey-Donald-Goofy DTV project .. but which was eventually used in something else.

Right ..:?:

And Ben .. I'll echo Sullivan's recommendation that you give the movie another chance. I had 'mixed' feelings about the film, myself, the first time through (especially the crazy randomness of the "Meeting the Robinsons" sequence). The second time I saw it, I was able to enjoy it more, since I knew ...

ShyViolet , in answer to your question: Grandpa Bud doesn't recognize Lewis as a younger version of his adopted son, because Wilbur placed the 'fruitbowl-hat' on his head .. covering up his distinctive hairstyle (which, as Wilbur had mentioned, was a 'dead give-away'. Surely, Grandpa could have rec...

Currently, my avatar is Tallulah from Meet the Robinsons . Mostly because I think she's the wackiest-looking character I've seen in some time .. the googley eyes, the wild, bright-orange hair .. and that craaazy outfit!! http://www.studioharlow.com/AN/Tallulah_JoyceDisney.jpg Which, I was happy to d...

As for the prospect of a Snow White II .. according to this article on Animation World Network , DisneyToons is out of the 'sequel' business. After The Little Mermaid III , apparently, that's 'it'. (whatever will Daniel do?!) :o However, this doesn't seem to affect Winnie the Pooh DTV's, nor the Tin...

This thread inspired me to pull out and thumb through the Snow White "Art of" books which I do have: Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: An Art in its Making , by Martin Krause & Linda Witkowski .. a wonderful 'scholarly' look at the production art of the film; very much on par with Pierr...

I have the Platinum DVD and the Masterpiece LD boxed sets of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs ; and both transfers look pretty fantastic .. I'm not sure how they could look 'stronger' (at standard def, anyway .. surely a Blu-Ray transfer would have more detail, regardless). I really wish I had bought...
