Scenes like that I can watch all day. Throw Davy Jones into the mix, clicking and scoffing at the both of them and I'll be able to last through at least another two movies.

Spirited Away and Mononoke are pretty amazing films, but I find myself siding with the spunk and charm of Porco Rosso at the end of the day. On occasion, Whisper of the Heart dips into the same quaint and very personal styling - sometimes a sense of longing and what has been lost ... or has yet to ...

Oh my, Mouse Detective is one of my favorites and had there been a home video continuation or TV series I know it would've been a fixture of my childhood, regardless of the quality. Such a charming film, haha -- it's the way Ratigan practically drapes himself over every scene he's in, or the quirky ...

Watch more movies kingmaker. ;p

(Still didn't stop me from seeing this one twice in 3D, though. It's worth seeing and inspecting and discussing and dissecting on visual merit alone! I only hope the animators at some point "have their day in court", if I can turn such a phrase.)

Loving the high-res posters for "Up"

Have you offered or shared high-res promo and film-related materials in the past as well? Or plan to offer more in the future? This stuff is great!

The Berenstain Bears have existed as 2-D illustrations for so long, they are also getting "a slight makeover to bring it into the three-dimensional style, but we'll embrace the core design elements," Bostick says. " It'll be a slightly modern spin on their look. " Haha, I really get sick of hearing...

George I do understand the valid concern at play here, and I'm not at all ignorant about the content on dA (I've been a member there for years). Mature images on dA are not publicly viewable by default. There will always be something which gets through, but I wouldn't ever link to something ill-advi...

Yes? Sony reclaimed the rights, like you said. And I thought Criterion did a pretty good job on the likes of Time Bandits and Brazil. Why wouldn't they have been able to pump out a magnificent HD transfer in a double-barreled multidisc release with dynamite packaging?

Oh my. I think we've just now moved beyond "Family Safe" to "Extreme Care, FRAGILE, Handle With Caution, Dear God Don't EVER Use the Internet" mode. :( It's a sad day when one can't even link to one of the single largest art communities online today. The chief motive for linking being to give proper...
