What defines whether a sequel is "pointless" or not? Was Toy Story 2 needed? I mean, it wasn't like Toy Story left a lot of unanswered questions. Yet you yourself, Ben, have said that Toy Story 2 is the best CGI film ever, which I definitely agree with. Whether it should be made or not, Bambi and th...

I'm still amazed that people think these direct-to-video sequels and prequels are okay even if they're mediocre. It just goes to demonstrate how far the expectations of quality from Disney by the general public have slid after years of mediocre videos and movies. I agree with you to an extent. Yes,...

Passion of the Christ received more nominations than Kill Bill, though, despite the latter film being by far more critically acclaimed.
However, if I had to pick a film that, in my opinion, got "snubbed", it would be Spider-Man 2. I think that film deserved more Oscar consideration than it received.

But think of all the non-Christian, critically-acclaimed films that didn't get nominated. Plus, The Incredibles has been widely acclaimed, even though it has been decribed as a "right-wing" film. May I pose a question, though? Did those few Christian films that were released last year really deserve...

At least he didn't tell you how and why it happens, though. That's what makes it a powerful twist in the story. Actually, IMDB had an interesting story about how some news commentators have been spoiling the movie by discussing that part of the film: http://www.imdb.com/news/sb/#2 . WARNING! : the r...
