If it is a show featuring Mickey and pals, I guess we should expect an announcement within the next couple of months regarding Mickey's new voice actor. I'm sure Disney will do a solid job in picking the right actor for the job, though following Wayne Allwine, he has some very big yellow shoes to fi...

Well, I would think that Princess and the Frog being an impressive looking film as well as being a way to support hand-drawn feature animation would be incentive alone to see it theatrically. I'm sure they will put the teaser online. It would surprise me if they didn't.

I also saw Ponyo yesterday. Yet another spectacular achievement from Hayao Miyazaki, Ponyo is a magical experience from start to finish, giving off a very enchanting feel. The animation is splendid to watch as each frame flows beautifully under the pencils of the Studio Ghibli artists. The little nu...

You can probably say a lot of that is Lasseter's influence, as he is, after all, a major Miyazaki fan. I think it's great that Disney has decided to give a Miyazaki plenty of promotion and a wide release worldwide. I was lucky enough to catch Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle theatrically, two ...

Looks pretty good. I like the voice-cast and the action scenes look like a lot of fun. It's also interesting how these later-year animated films (Astro Boy, Fantastic Mr Fox, 9) aren't getting a 3D release like the other animated films of this year have. And am I the only person who gets a Sonic the...

I'm surprised this isn't being released direct-to-video. The first film came out eight years ago and I highly doubt people are clamoring for a sequel. It doesn't look like anybody from the first film is attached to this one, so I see this being somewhat of a loss for Warner Brothers.

Oddly enough, the first thing that came to mind is why would Warner Brothers want to destroy some perfectly good copies of Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain, especially since those sets sold quite well (didn't they?).

I'm really looking forward to this one. Like you said, the style is more reminiscent with Wind of the Willows, rather than, say, Wallace & Gromit, but I'm okay with that.

I have yet to be disappointed by Wes Anderson and this looks like another winning entry from him.

Wow, that early, huh?

So, maybe there's a possibility of the Rapunzel teaser premiering with Ponyo.

Well, we did get that Princess and the Frog teaser last December, so it's certainly not out of the question.

Well, I always thought The Lion King sequels were the only decent direct-to-video Disney cheap-quels. Likely because rather than remake the first film, they simply adapted a different Shakespearean play. So, this might be another case of that. However, it's way too early to know. For all we know, it...

Yeah, The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast were two stories that Walt Disney considered adapting to animated features in his life-times, but those never came to be until the Alan Menken-Howard Ashman period.

Hey, any more news on this release? Has Disney released a entire list of special features for the DVD yet?

Also, I was just on the official Disney website and it says that the DVD and Blu-Ray are now both being released on October 6. I'm surprised this wasn't reported on this website yet.
