Disney's Enchanted

Reading what other people say doesn't change my opinions, Dusty! :) Well, if I can read what you said about the animals not normally being so personified as to help princesses clean, and think maybe you're right, maybe you could at least consider what I said and do the same for me? Anyway, if you d...

Disney's Enchanted

Thanks James. I guess the background is supposed to be...misty blue waterall? Yes, Once Upon A Dream, of course Giselle should fight for her happily ever after, but suddenly going up against a dragon when she's had little experience with anything so dangerous...it's a stretch. Oh, well Ben, glad you...

Katrina Van Tassel vs. Cinderella

You know, maybe this is more evidence they looked at Ichabod for inspiration in Beauty and the Beast . First Gaston is like Brom Bones, now something else I've noticed for a while. There's this picture that looks strikingly similar to one droosan posted. Katrina's hands are held by an unattractive m...

I personally thought the Fairly Odd characters loked better in 3-D than the Jimmy Neutron characters looked in 2-D, but that's probably due to the fact I think the Fairy Odd characters have better, cuter, more likable designs anyway.

Pixar's Wall-E

Personally, I think I'll wait and hear from the actual creators of the film regarding the characterization of Eve as a "female." The fact this feminine robot's name is Eve just reinforces what I thought. It seems to me the romance is still second in the story, it's probably more about a robot (oh l...

Disney's Enchanted

Ben , many things. Firstly, thanks for the new Enchanted makeover for the front page! Though it is odd Horton didn't last very long...shouldn't the site have been Enchanted when the movie came to theaters (or was it, I can't remember)? The blue sky is nice but I'd prefer a nightime background mysel...

Pixar's Wall-E

Yay, one person half-agreed with me, my trusty friend Daniel! But it always bothers me, maybe it won't on the big screen? Thank you, also, Meg, for noticing what I said about Buy N Large. I'm really hoping for lots on that in the movie! Foxtale, I heard from early on that the film would not be compl...

Pixar's Wall-E

A big THANK YOU to James and eddievalient. Once again I feel great here. A poster on Youtube confirmed the one robot seems to be characterized as a girl. Oh, Pixar. You can make political statements about the environment and confromity and consumerism...but you have to conform with love? Yes, this f...

Pixar's Wall-E

isn't it a little too much action packed ? Too crowded? I bet japanese one will be much more mysterious, slower paced and emotionally touching than this one ;) At least I hope so.. Yea, me too. This trailer didn't do it for me. It's been overused in films now, when something really painful or a lot...

The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning

The plot isn't trite at all,i thought the opening showing why he banned music :?,and Triton is young when Ariel is a baby. Ursula dosn't really have a lot of story,Ariel's mom had a very intersting story,Ursula just did something that made her get vanished. Anyone noticed how much they keep remind ...

Katrina Van Tassel vs. Cinderella

Oh, Ben, do you really think it went like that? I don't. I think they remembered things from their earlier designs, but way less consciously than the way you said. After reading and looking at a lot on my favorite Disney princess, they obviously drew a lot of different character designs and even wer...

Katrina Van Tassel vs. Cinderella

SleepingBeautyAurora: Well, since this is just about designs, it's all fine. Glad you do like Cinderella. And of course Disney intended everyone to relate to Cinderella, they had to for audiences to respond. Meanwhile we never see very much of Aurora so she had to be so pretty we liked watching her ...

Katrina Van Tassel vs. Cinderella

Droosan ..you are like...my hero for making that chart and saying so many great things about my favorite Disney girl. Excellent choices of screencaps to match the characters. I agree completely with all you said, of course, but I have favoritism and bias. But it just makes sense since Cinderella is...

Pixar's Wall-E

Thanks Meg, I suppose that attachment got broken off somehow or he's a defective one. However, I do not have sympathy for this always sad robot. I find him annoying and uncute. The robots actually look cuter with the attachment and no particular expression. Yea, maybe they don't need to be cute, but...
