Batman

I saw Batman: Mask of the Phantasm a LONG time ago, but I remember really liking it. And I thought the animated series had great stories, especially Heart of Ice (the first Mr. Freeze one). And with Danny Elfman doing the music, how can you go wrong? Plus anyone remember the one with Clayface? How C...

Hmmmmm.... I dunno, but the more I hear and see of thise new Batman film the more convinced I am that it's being hyped to cover up some considerable script problems. This is completely different than the reaction I had to the trailer to the first Keaton movie (which in retrospect hasn't aged well)....

I finally got to see it!!!!!!!! :)

I thought it was a wonderful trailer, great blending of the 1977 material with the prequels. There was a real sense of continuity. HC looks MUCH more threatening with that longer hair/red eyes, and I loved the clips of the final fight with Obi-Wan.

SaveDisney

I think SaveDisney's problem was that they really didn't have a lot of anwers to all of the "hard" questions: How to GET a dynamic, competent CEO to Disney, not just talk about getting one. How to resolve the issues with Disney and Miramax. How to bring Pixar back. What kind of movies should Disney ...

Pixar

From what I"ve read I can tell they don't like DW very much at all, at least their films. Last January Brad Bird really put down Sinbad in the EW focus on The Incredibles for new films of 2004. He said something like: "There's a school of thought among some people that if you take really well-known ...

Katzenberg

I'm curious if and how much Jeffrey Katzenberg will be mentioned in this documentary. It will be strange if he's talked about since he's pretty much been erased from official Disney history. What will they say about him or how his "resignation" affected WDFA? That adds another controvertial factor t...

Kuzco

Thanks! That whole thing with "I'm sorry, but you've thrown off the Emperor's groove" and all those nasty guards/repressive regime thing kind of got me thinking. I mean, what other dictatorship could they have modeled it on??

documentary

Tom Schumacker is still there, in the theater department. (they're supposed to be producing the stage versions of "The Little Mermaid" and "Mary Poppins") How will he look after the film's presentation of "The Tom Meeting" which will show the fresh reactions of animators who were just told (by him) ...

Hopefully the producers of Dreamer will have more luck than Moore did.

I would be very afraid if I were Disney.
