Darkblade, I have never seen Coonskin, but I've never been a big fan of Bakshi's. As a serious animation fan, I have seen Song of the South. It's enjoyable, but I don't think it's that great. In my mind, it's certainly not necessary to keep it in the vault.

I agree with George on the original series. In retrospect, it wasn't great, but I think there is an element of fun in the original series. I, for one, enjoyed the live-action movie. It was a fun to watch and I'm looking forward to the sequel.

For me, the Disney musicals have provided the most entertainment. Aladdin and The Lion King are at the top of my list. Both have excellent songs and great scores.

Jake, I agree with your assessment that many critics blindly approve all things Pixar and declare their films perfect in every way. Reading some of the reviews gives me dejavu at this point since it's basically the same review with every new movie. I think that many of their films (Bug's Life, Cars)...
