Like the poster, but agh, that horrible logo really clashes with it...Oh well.

Also, it kinda reminds me of this a little - http://www.snakeandsnake.com/3wolfmoon.jpg

According to Floyd Norman's comment on the above article, Pixar's Newt is apparently dead as well. That's a real shame...I was really interested in that project. Perhaps the whole amphibian love theme the film featured was too similar to that of PatF's? In any case I'm sad to hear the movie has been...

That's fantastic news! Up really deserved a nom there, really happy to see that it's gotten it. I'm also really happy to see Secret of the Kells among the Best Animated Feature nominations, it's a beautiful film. Let's hope that with Up given a Best Picture nomination, more animated films will be gi...

Is it just me, or is every logo DW has done for their recent animated flicks look...Well, the same?

Other than that, this poster is definitely an improvement over the other one.

hcjehg - Interesting information you've got there! Yep, they screened this film at the animation club recently here at SCAD, and I have to say, I'm really glad I attended. I was surprised at how good it was, as I hadn't really heard anything about it prior to seeing it. The art direction and charact...

Very glad to see Secret of the Kells get a nomination! I really enjoyed that feature quite a bit. Actually, I'm very pleased with all five of the nominees this year - each has a very unique style and voice to it, so it's a very nice variation.

Has anyone else here seen The Secret of Kells? They had a screening of the film here at SCAD a few weeks ago and I really enjoyed it, it's a beautiful and unique movie that's definitely worth watching. Also, very interested in this year's Oscar awards - there's been many great animated films that ha...

Ah, good. While I'm no fan of his bitter attitude and find his animations totally unfunny, he IS a talented cartoonist and I've actually learned a lot from his posts about construction, color, and such.

Hey, actually looks pretty solid! The dragon has a really interesting design, wasn't expecting it to look like that at all but it works really well. Not totally sold on the kid's voice yet, either, but it could grow on me. Still a little early to judge, but this looks like it could be one of the stu...
