I really wanted the Blu-ray to be great, but it looks like the latest (Family Fun) DVD will due me just as well or better. I really wish another company owned these Bluth films (well, not Universal, of course).

Sadly, we didn't get the new special in, at least not yet. But here's a review of the 2-movie collection recently released:

That'll make it 3 in the US market so far.

Not my next choice, overall, but I do love the film. It's a nice departure from the eco-warrior or other fantasy films Ghibli is most known for. I've watched it a couple of times, and adore it.

Here's hoping for a complete series set on DVD (or even Blu-ray)! I usually watch stuff on disc these days, so I'd like to see it come out this way.

I don't recall Little Shop at all. That is so bizarre. "Word, Little Shop"? Just, wow.

I still can't believe this isn't an April Fool's joke that everyone took too seriously. The whole thing seems preposterous.

Yeah, that was my impression too, actually. If it's someone else, then AD needs to say so soon, and change his password. Otherwise, his time here is done. We like kooks, but not vulgar kooks.

We knew about Batman: Year One being due next after GL: Emerald Knights, but now Warner has announced what's after that: another Justice League film, based on Mark Waid's Tower of Babel storyline. Sounds good to me. Waid had trouble hitting his stride writing JLA, but this was a darn good story. htt...

HHWTW is a nice little set, though I have't watched it all yet. I thought the "Smile-o-Vision" was kinda neat, actually. I did benefit from it being a low seller, as I picked it up for about $10 when Amazon was clearing out some stock. I'd pay a whole lot more for a similar Grimm release, though. Fo...
