Remake a perfect film?? Also, the blood IS in the book - you perhaps didn't imagine it that way? I'm re-reading it at the moment after doing my piece on the film for DVD Toons: http://www.dvdtoons.com/features/78 Ah... I may have come across as not liking the film as-is. Personally, I think it's br...

I'd love to see one or two of the better Redwall books adapted to film. They did make a reasonably decent TV show covering three of the books, but perhaps a film or two with a bigger budget... and a good PG rating. Mossflower would be great, but I'm a bit biased there. The trick would be getting cha...

There'd better be a lot more to this movie than what the previews imply... I'm all for protecting the environment, but this makes me think of a cheesy Disney Channel-type movie that nobody ever hears of again. And those kids... ugh. Looks like they're trying too hard to make them "hip," maybe to dis...

Ah yes, I remember noticing most of those. Haven't decided yet whether it bothers me or not... when done badly (ex: Maid Marian clapping like Snow White... she looks drugged) it certainly does. I guess I'd rather see all-new stuff every time, but they might have pulled those out because they liked t...

^ Me too. Jim Carrey drives me insane because he can't help but overact in everything... and those weird facial expressions... *shudder* But he does seem to have good control over his voice, so I also think he'd be great as a VA.

Trying to keep this short...

1) Lion King
2) Beauty and the Beast
3) Aladdin
4) The Incredibles
5) Bambi
6) Monsters, Inc.
7) Watership Down
8) Robin Hood
9) Rescuers Down Under
10) Brother Bear

I think the top six are in order... not sure about the rest.

Rob Paulson was also Raphael in the '80s Ninja Turtles. Seems like he and Cam Clarke got around a lot when it comes to voicework.

I'm waiting to go home for the summer so I can watch it again... Not the perfect adaption, but good enough for me. Aslan was flippin' amazing. The weight . Prince Caspian in 2008??! *wince* Man, those kids are gonna grow fast. They're gonna need a non-canon excuse for the aging for any movies after ...

I remember Gargoyles vaguely from my younger years, but I don't think I watched it very often. Recently I scoured the internet looking for stuff about the show, and now I want the first season DVD. Badly. Cartoons that can be mature like that just tickle my fancy, I guess. Not to be confused with "a...

*tips hat* Thankye! I don't work with 3D yet... I only just got accepted into the program at college, but I will be working in both 2D and 3D. I'm planning on teaching myself as much about 3D modeling/animation as I can over the summer - downloaded the Maya PLE to practice on until fall classes star...

I prefer the old TMNT. I know the more recent version of it is based more on the comic book, but my childhood was based around that show. I didn't even know it was a comic book until a couple months ago. I wasn't surprised when I found out though. I only made the distinction because the old show is...

Off the top of my head:

Frank Oz
James Earl Jones

I'm sure there's more, but my brain isn't functioning properly right now. I like Frank Oz for the variety (and quirkiness) of his voices, and James Earl Jones for sheer, deep coolness.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The new one, that is... 'cos it actually adapts storylines from the original comics. As cute and funny as the '80s show was, it actually had almost nothing to do with the comics. I've never watched any of the Batman/Superman/Spiderman etc. cartoons... probably should so...
