Re: Looney Tunes Golden/Platinum Collections

I've always loved Little Buck Cheeser, which is a bonus on WBHV's Captains Courageous DVD (for .. some reason..? :| 8) )

Looks like Wikipedia does provide info for M-G-M Happy Harmonies cartoons that are released as bonus features.

There's more available than I'd thought! :o

Re: Looney Tunes Golden/Platinum Collections

It'd be very helpful if WBHV (or I guess WA, now) could provide a database of which LT/MM/M-G-M cartoons they've released as individual bonus features -- along with which movies contain the short. I mean, I know they're 'easter eggs' .. but I don't wanna have to search too hard to find 'em all (or a...

Re: Official Star Wars Thread

I think Ben was referring to The Last Jedi .. released on December 15, 2017.

Though, I personally actually kinda enjoyed TLJ more than the other two entries in the 'sequel trilogy'. I also liked Solo well enough. :|

Re: Looney Tunes Golden/Platinum Collections

I just bought a copy of that Bugs Bunny 80th Anniversary set over the weekend, too; along with the 'Mouse Tales' set.

I guess I got the next-to-the-last Bugs Bunny set, since Amazon reported only 2 in stock at that time.

Looks like mine is #19,852.

Re: Looney Tunes Golden/Platinum Collections

WBHV did have a maddening tendency to place somewhat random cartoons as 'bonus features' on various movies! These were often not 'restored' nor 'remastered' in any way .. but it still 'counts' as being on DVD. :) .. and I had totally blanked/forgotten about the Mouse Chronicles set .. which gives me...

Re: Looney Tunes Golden/Platinum Collections

This comes from a list I'd compiled almost ten years ago, of LT & MM cartoons on Laserdisc that remain unreleased on DVD or Blu-ray. I had to prune out several that've seen release, since then! It's possible I might've missed a few; feel free to let me know, if that's the case. Even so .. this list ...

Re: Looney Tunes Golden/Platinum Collections

There are still slightly over 100 LT & MM shorts which were released on Laserdisc, but are not yet available on DVD or Blu-ray.

Re: YouTube Goodness

The Kickstarter campaign for this Lackadaisy film was funded in April of 2020 .. and was initially promised to premiere in April of 2021 (which I knew then was an overly-ambitious completion date). Iron Circus Studio kept all backers well-informed of the project's progress, throughout the ...

Today is the day! The Lackadaisy 'short' film (now labeled a 'pilot', and clocking-in at 27 minutes!) can finally be viewed in its full glory ..

Re: Animated Theatre films based on shows!

I submitted a thread about it , back when. I also looked into seeing A Wizard's Tale in a theater .. but the closest it was playing to me was over an hour's drive away, in Orange County. I wound-up buying the movie on Google Play, instead. I enjoyed it, well enough .. but I'll admit I don't recall m...

Exactly. Rather than fear this tool -- and that's all AI is; a tool .. learn to use it. Figure out how to incorporate what it does well into your existing workflow .. or explore new ways of doing things that you mightn't have thought to do, as quickly. Several of my work colleagues have been using A...
