Nope, sorry Inkan. We could only put up one logo for the opening film last weekend, and we simply couldn't turn down Mr Plympton's offer of a personalised logo.

If there's an Aqua sequel, I'm sure we'll catch them then. :)

Upcoming movie news links

Thought I'd start a thread on non-animated news links that point to certain features and characters we speak a lot about on these here boards. FIRST UP: FILMING STARTS ON THE DARK KNIGHT with a description of the new Joker! ---------- Photos from the set of The Dark Knight ! ----------...

I think it's more down to what BCI is allowed to release as part of the Filmation catalog. As we've seen, Star Trek was put out by copyrighters Paramount and the DC series from them will be issued by WB. BCI does sterling work when it comes to their sets, even with sub-fare like Groovie Goolies and ...

I'm sure on a second viewing, I'll like it more. Like I said, it had a Blood Brothers effect on me in that the whole third act was SO right - and full of heart - that I'd sti through it again to get to that. Interesting that BHG is said to have a British "influence", at least, since that's what we r...

Yes! Have you read my appraisal of the Disney Paris exhibition on our sister site Animated Views? http://animated-views.com/2007/disney-paris-exhibition/ You'll see that I'm a Tenggren fan. The closest I've ever come to obtaining a large print of his was a double spread in a magazine on the event of...

Nope, I loved what the future was. I just didn't buy the change from our time now to all that happening and have being changed in less than 20 years from now. My sister has the book, so I'm familiar with it. Actually, it was my friend who pointed out BHG's British accent! And before the film ...

Bowler Hat Guy spoke in a British accent, not the American accent that he did as a kid...!??!!??!?? Yes, having the image of Elvis in there worked in Lilo. Maybe because he's so iconic and it wasn't trying to be photorealistic? (Yes, Einstein is just as iconic, but ironally I didn't have as much of ...

That might be some sales talk justifcation for the extra new bit, but it was NEVER intended for the film or written, like Human Again was. Morning Report was written as one of the three new songs they wrote for the show. There might be some justifcation in that they might have said, "hey, how about ...

Good question, Vi!

I don't think it was addressed in the film, so that doesn't hold either. As I say, much of this would have been addressed by setting The Future a couple more generations on.

That's the first time I've ever heard "Morning Report" was written for the film. I just don't think it was. Most of the other songs were written for the "Shadows Of The Pride Lands" sequel album, and none of them by Rice/John, so none of them were ever intended for the film. "He Lives In You" was la...
