Hey Daniel, lol! Don't worry, I still check this website every single day whenever I use the Internet for the first time. I just gotta remember to use the forums more.

Not sure if I'll be able to make it this year, but I'll try to.

I was able to view an early screening of the film and I think this review does it justice in recognizing its contradictions. That is to say, I do love the movie and how it never went the direction I thought it was going to go. It never seemed formulaic nor tired.

I've always been a fan of the "Asterix" books and still have to read "Asterix and the Picts". But I've seen a few of the "Asterix" films, so this one seems interesting as well.

I pray that with all the hype that this movie is giving out that it doesn't disappoint !

I too am not satisfied that this film will be part of the Disney Canon. To me, it feels like if Disney would make an animated "Star Wars" movie and be part of the Canon. It just doesn't seem authentic. Oh well, what can we do?
