Re: The Twilight Zone

One of the best Zones ever! Yeah, and I know a lot of people have said that the “abominable snowman” creature looks “ridiculous” because of budget constraints (unlike the terrifying version in the ‘83 film) but I never really felt that way…I think the original Zone version looks SO surreal and drea...

Re: Me And My Shadow

My thoughts: —Extremely imaginative —Adorable cat :) —the combo of CGI and traditional is fascinating…but for some reason just doesn’t work for me. They kind of cancel each out, making it so we can’t appreciate either one. —the shadow personality has stupefyingly great animation, but other than that...

Re: Man of Steel, Justice League and DC MOVIES

OMG that’s so sad! Of course like so many I also love STM, (how in the world can any superhero film nowadays hope to beat that amazing opening when baby Kal’El saves his new adopted parents from being crushed?) Also I know he directed The Omen, which I’ve always wanted to see. (He also appeare...

Because audiences and, by extension, the human race, have become so dumbed down and homogenised that mediocrity is too often accepted and, worse, celebrated.

Don’t feel bad, people make mistakes. There’s no reason to erase all the other good work you’ve done just because you were inexperienced in this field. Continue to create! :)

Re: Stephen Anderson Left Disney

Oh wow, I didn’t realize Lasetter didn’t change that much. Well, either way it was a very enjoyable film. I actually cried a lot at the end.

Good on Stephen for hanging on to his vision and not letting Lasetter mangle it.

Re: Stephen Anderson Left Disney

It’s also especially impressive how decent Robinsons turned out to be (I’d rate it around a “B”) even after Lasetter made Anderson change so much. It could have wound up a huge disaster and then Lasetter/Pixar (and maybe even Iger) would no doubt have claimed that they simply hadn’t gotten to...
