I was the second commenter on Cartoon Brew's posting of this video, and I'll say it again: Beautiful and brave, in many ways. Great job, Pixar.

And George--- WAY off topic, man.

Pretty cool, though maybe not enough to make me bite. Very nice to see so much H-B coming out from Warner Archive, though. I'm hoping for more 1960s and 1970s shows.

Re:

(The BD + DVD Combo is new for a Ghibli release. Actually, Ponyo got the BD+DVD treatment too. And, as I'd like to point out to all the other websites saying so incorrectly, Nausicaa is not a Ghibli movie. (I know George knows this, and that it's easier to just include it in the Ghibli canon for mo...

Yeah, you'd hope that all the movies could at least have been put out on BD.

Toy Story 3 for the win. HTTYD has good buzz for sure, so it likely gets a nod. Then, though I haven't seen it yet, I'm pulling for The Illusionist, just to get past the big studio offerings.

Despicable Me? No way! It was okay, but nothing special.

I have some reservations about the CGI costume, but I think I'm still pretty jazzed to see this. And mark my words--- Ryan will surprise people. I think he'll prove to be a great Hal Jordan.

Man, I wish I had money to burn right now, with all the great titles coming out...

...But, I did manage to splurge a bit this week with Avatar, plus I picked up the Man From U.N.C.L.E. briefcase set for just $78 today at Costco!

Some of you may like what Jerry Beck has to say at Cartoon Brew. He thought Tangled was TOO old school (or at least too 1990s) Disney.

Well, that's the least appealing to me of all the H-B Warner Archive announcements (though I guess I did watch the show a little), but nice for Pac-Man's many fans.

Re:

"The first big screen Pooh project in 30 years?" Um, there have been THREE theatrical WTP films in the last decade! Actually, the quote is " the first big-screen "Pooh" adventure from Disney animators in more than 30 years. " I think the spin here is that this is the first in 30 years from the regu...

Pretty lame. I can't believe they're casting Uncle Ben at all. They could have just done a film series that took place roughly between the first two Tobey films--- not necessarily referencing them, but avoiding conflicts or covering the same ground.
