This could easily merge with the Princess and the Frog discussion thread. If he does a ballad, I don't mind at all. An uptempo dance song wo...

the one with the firefly amused me, because he was trying to squeeze his light on and the sound of the fart was so light you could barely hear anything. His chracater amuses me anyway. But I did not get the exploding pants guy joke. I hope that joke is in context of something, because it looks lame....

We're all familair with the "Uncanny Valley" right? Afer seeing the trailer, I'm convinced Avatar is waaaay down there, right alongside Beowulf, The Polar Express and Final Fantasy. Technologically impressive, but cold, creepy and unappealing. To me, Davy Jones in the Pirates sequels remains the per...

Re: DreamWorks Animation Announces Full Slate Until 2012
March 20th 2012: Puss in Boots — Shrek the Third director Chris Smith directs this prequel spin-off to Shrek 2, telling the story of Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas). Salma Hayek will voice the female love interest named Kitty. ... kitty? that was really the best they could come up with? This...

I love how it's pure gimmick. The way the ghost enters scrooge's room, that whole scene is made with 3D in mind. It's awful. Jim Carrey is the only thing I'm sort of looking forward to. I'm sure he'll be great playing different characters. But the overall look is.. so far.... terrible. It definitely...

I totally get what you're saying. I guess this film just had a greater effect on me personally, as I suspect it did with a lot of other people. I'm allergic to all animals and I LOVED Bolt. It was funny, heartwarming and it overcame predictability with strong, clever and interesting characters. The...

But we've had those to death, the latest being Monsters Vs Aliens, which is entertaining but as cookie cutter CGI comedy as they come. I think with this what many are actually hoping for is the reverse: a romatic drama with touches of comedy. I think this was the direction Glen was working too, as ...

$27M? That number almost sounds too good to be true. If it really did make that much, "Monsters" has a *slight* chance of surpassing "300's" opening weekend. well, I just read the number was revised down a bit to 25 million. Wich is still amazing. It'll make anywhere between 58 and 62 million now I...

waaaay over. It made over 27 million on saturday, putting it at $44 million after two days. If we give it a really hard drop for sunday, say 15 million, that would give it 59 million.Ben wrote:Should end up with a maybe over $50m opening.
MvA is going way over $60 million. Possibly even $65 million.
