Re: Disney's Wish

All of this talk is very disappointing. :( That "100th Year" for Disney really was a bust in so many areas.

Still, I'll need to watch Wish regardless.

Re: WB Archive Collection: Discs On Demand!

The box is an easy decision for me. I have the ones I really wanted on DVD, but never did get the Scoobys (I mean, there are a LOT of Scooby movies out there!) It'll be really nice to have a complete set of the Superstar movies in one HD package. The DVD transfers can be lackluster, so having HD cop...

Re: DC Universe

That could be a fair statement, given that we've had maybe 70-90 superhero films. On the other hand, a film out of the Top 50 can still be perfectly enjoyable. And with an Audience Score of 81% at RT, it seems to be liked well enough by those that are going out to see it (assuming the RT voters did ...

Re: DC Universe

A friend wanted to see Aquaman 2. I thought, "Really?" But I went with him on Saturday. And... It was way better than the awful trailer. But if you didn't like the first, I can't see liking the second. Same actors, directors, and tone. But if you like silly pulp adventure, it's a fun time at the mov...

Before: Not the least bit interested in the bird movie.
Now: Hmmmm..... Maybe!

Apparently, the theatrical 3D is also really good. Too bad it'll likely never be on Blu-ray 3D.

Re: YouTube Goodness

Ever seen Olivia Newton-John's 1970 sci-fi musical Toomorrow? Probably not. I only just found out about its existence - its release was halted by legal issues. Produced by Don Kirshner and Harry Saltzman!! Unbelievable. Here's a look:
